      The series has a reoccurring musical cue which is not an original composition for the show, but is actually a remixed instrumental of the song "Pepper" by the Butthole Surfers. The song is about societal criticism when being viewed by others and brushes with death. This ties back to the lead character Jen who is looked down upon for not having super powers and is told how they are going to die in the first episode.
    • Goofs
      Jizzlord is a male shape shifter, but when in cat form he presents as a black tortoiseshell. While male tortoiseshell cats can exist, they are very rare (about 1 in 3,000 cats).

    It's Good

    It's good.

    I'm just relieved to watch anything these days that isn't a spiteful pseudo moral lecture set to marginalise normal people. Extraordinary is extraordinary in so much as it is a new TV show that doesn't do the afore mentioned and is genuinely funny, accessible & touching.

    Good work everybody.

    The lead actress is wonderfully relatable & has a touch of screen magic about her.

    I've only watched the first episode, but, I do hope this nugget of escapism continues in the vain it's set out in.

    P. S. Like the aesthetic too. It has a touch of the 70s/80s about it. There's something nostalgic in the viewing.
