- We see a woman laying dead, executed in the previous episode at point-blank in the head.
- Knife slashes and an open wound on a terrorist's stomach is shown for a brief moment.
- Jack reaches into the terrorist's stomach to retrieve the phone chip. We don't see the gore as its done, but we see the bloody hands and phone chip when done and we see Jack cleaning off the blood from the phone chip.

- Jack shoots some baddies in a department store. One of which is a lady. We see the dead bodies later with a little blood here and there.

- The torture sequence is ultra sadistic.
- Jack uses pliers to snip some flesh off the terrorist's stomach. He then punches, pounds, and even head butts the guy, totaling about 30 hits. He then slashes some more cuts open with a knife. Next he squirts some sort of powerful liquid on the wounds. He then takes a blow torch and burns the wounded flesh. Finally, after finding out he swallowed the phone chip, he cuts him open to retrieve it.

- Jack takes pliers, his fists, cuts him with a knife repeatedly, then burns him with a blowtorch and throws acid on him. All of this is shown in extreme detail; this is arguably the most gruesome and violent "24" has ever been. Then he disembowels the man to retrieve evidence from his stomach (some of this is offscreen, so we don't see ALL of this). This will likely test just how much even longtime fans of the show can stomach.
