- There's a large shootout in a parking garage near the end, and several bad guys are seen being shot, mostly bloodlessly. A car crashes into another car.
- There's a large fight scene in an office building in which Bob fights off several FBI agents, but the fighting is mildly brutal. A man gets pistol whipped in this scene, and another is punched several times and has his face slammed into a fridge door. Bob and Kevin Hart's character then jump out of a window and escape.
- Comedy intense violence.
- Many scenes where hand-to-hand combat, explosions and shootouts are shown, but kept from being very frightening by being mixed with humor.
- Bob and Calvin fight their way through several armed guards while escaping the CIA compound. Not brutal or violent.

- The shootout/fight scene in the office, though funny at times, could be intense for younger viewers.
- Many mildly intense action scenes, but they're not incredibly intense, and some of them are played for comedy.
- Most of the action/violence in this film is intense and at times brutal, but it's kept from being too frightening or intense by the comedy, which is almost always present, even during the action.
- The final fight is pretty brutal.
- The torture scene may be intense, though it's not graphic or violent.
- The parking garage shootout is pretty intense.

Violence & Gore
- Two men have a pretty brutal fist fight on a bridge at the end, and one of them is shot in the leg and a small blood spurt can be seen. They continue fighting and one of them kills the other and knocks him off the bridge.
- Aaron Paul's character is shown blowing up in a gory and bloody way multiple times, offscreen, and blood is seen spattering on walls. However, it is revealed that he faked his death.
- Calvin is shot by Bob. Blood smears are shown, but Hart's character survives.
- Aaron Paul's character has his esophagus torn out and it is shown fully, but this is not too gory, and not seen very clearly (he covers his neck afterwards in the theatrical version, he doesn't in the uncut version, which is more graphic). Some blood can be seen, and the organ can be seen in The Rock's hand later as a joke.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Aaron Paul's character is shown blowing up in a gory and bloody way multiple times, but this is shown offscreen, and only blood spatters are seen on walls. However, it is revealed that he faked his death.
- Viewers are led to believe that The Rock's character has betrayed Kevin Hart's character, but however this shown that he did this to maintain his cover.
