The Cold Front was supposed to be Al Snow, Glacier (Ray Lloyd) and Iceberg but Iceberg was not there. As per CHIKARA tradition, names were drawn from a hat for a replacement partner for the match between the Cold Front and the Unstable (Vin Gerard, STIGMA and Colin Delaney). The names Avatar, Shinobi and Leif Cassidy were drawn, which were all other names Al Snow had used in WWE. The names Green Ant and Amazing Red (Jonathan Figueroa) were also drawn but they were not there. D-Lo Brown (A.C. Connor)'s name was drawn, and he was there, making him the replacement partner. The match was rooted in Glacier's feud with UnStable leader Vin Gerard.
During the Team Uppercut (Claudio Castagnoli/Bryan Danielson/Dave Taylor)-Roughnecks (Eddie Kingston (Edward Moore)/Brodie Lee (Jon Huber)/Grizzly Redwood (Matt Krizovensky)) match, Claudio Castagnoli made history by giving Grizzly Redwood a 100-rotation Giant Swing.
Trauma (Jay Washington) replaced the injured Acid Jaz (Jazmin Jones) for Da Soul Touchaz, with "The Urban American Dream" Willie "Da Bomb" Richardson (Willie Richardson) and "The M-80" Marshe Rockett, along with their manager C-Red (Sean Young) and valet Dymond.
