Generator Rex, created by man of action, the same people who brought you Ben 10 and Big Hero 6 is probably their best work since the original Ben 10 series. the series feels original and for the most part is done quite well. lets start with the animation: it is spectacular. the orange pallets really gives the show the steam punk feel it needs and it works, the background design won an Emmy award and it really deserves it. the action scenes are breath taking and this show boosts the best animation quality i have ever scene on a cartoon, besides Avatar the last air bender, Young justice and the newest Voltron legendary defender. the soundtrack is also exciting and it truly suits the overall feel of the show. the plot is well rounded and the characters are interesting. Rex is also such a likable character and is not your clichéd annoying action protagonist. he has some great character development accompanied by white knight. agent six is probably the coolest side character we have ever gotten on an action series and he definitely shines during the action sequences as he takes them to a whole new level. the series might feel a little stale towards the middle, but i continued to find the show fun during the filler episodes. if you find the recent animation slot boring, vapid, cheap, and unfunny (despite the foolish attempts), then I highly recommend you revisit Generator Rex. You will not be disappointed.

This series was pretty awesome, I'll admit. The dangerous and unstable world built from these microscopic robots named nanites that causes people to kind of mutate into monsters were immersive and made some creative designs of those monsters.

As the main character we have the teenage boy Rex who works for this police force called Providence, because he is the only one able to cure the nanites and bring these mutated people back to their normal self after the big event causing everyone and everything on the planet to be infected by them. At the same time Rex does not know about his past, who he was before becoming a soldier of Providence, and therefore he'll keep you interested throughout the show.

But he is not the only well rounded character in this show, because there are many cool characters in here with enough back story to them to make them interesting and engaging in there actions. The wisecracking monkey Bobo may be the least interesting of them and serves more like a comic relief character, but Agent Six, White Knight, Dr. Holiday and Circe are worth paying attention to.

There are more to see in this series, because aside from the main villain Van Kleiss, we get different kinds of recurring villains of which some are seen more often than others. Nonetheless, they are well acted and can be intimidating in their designs, but no graphic violence is in here so don't be scared to let ten-year-olds or so watch it.

* A story ? Exist and strong, and not only the story of the boy who saves the world from danger, nothing like this, but the story is more mysterious and profound.

* Plot? It exists strongly, with the exception of the filler episodes, which by the way, its only goal is to present a wonderful comedy, and it has succeeded in that.

* Science fiction mystery suspense and excitement? They are strong and add some great drama with lots of original comedy.

* Amazing characters? Powerfully yes, all the characters from Rex to Noah to Six to White Knight to Van kliess and Claire and Annie and even that crazy fan in the Rock My World episode are all amazing and special they have the perfect cast.

* Great voice acting cast from troy Baker Who is Playing Van kliess the main villan in the show or j.k simmons in one of his best Animted roles ever as White Knight , wally kurth the soap opera star is Agent Six ,felicia day , Fred Savage as noah and danica mckellar as claire bowman .

* Now believe me when I tell you this show will start normally but over time this bite will explode and become one of your favorite shows.

Greatest animation series I've ever seen & the most underrated one of Them 😢😢 This is an amendment to the previous review. I feel angry about myself and the way I wrote the review, but I hope you will understand me. I watched the show in a period of time that I needed so badly. I need those amazing characters and those music that makes me forget my worries and those very dark, dark atmospheres mixed with joyful comedy, the amazing balling of characters and the development of events. From the first episode to the last great episode, I can say that this is my absolute favorite TV show, and I would definitely be fanatic about it, especially with not appreciating this show. For me, this show is no less than Attack on Titan for some people. And I do not compare the two shows. I say that my feeling when I watch Generator Rex is the feeling of Fans Lee Attack on Titan when he watches it, but at least Atak got the recognition he deserves and the viewing rates, or whether this great show gets anything but forgotten with time. The ratings of the show were high a few years ago, but the sabotage campaigns destroyed the rating, not only this, but a few weeks ago, a campaign of sabotage began for the ratings of the episodes where the rating is reduced by some people who did not watch the show until I do not know why 😢 I am very sad and I hope this great show will happen Estimate only

You have everything and every Reason to watch this show : if you are a fan of a sope opera like Days of Our Lives or the General Hospital, then I must tell you that Wally Kurth, the star of both shows is Agent Six, and if you were a gamer and you like video games, like The Last of Us and you love the Joker, you should know that Troy Baker is a villain Van kliess in this show and his assistant is Starfire herself, Heiden Walsh, I did not and will not stop here.

If You were a fan of the most angry man in history, the great actor JK Simmons, you should know that he plays White Knight, the head of the organization called providence, in a role that combines all his usual qualities of anger and racism.

I will not talk at length about John Demaggio and grey delisle because you undoubtedly know them and there is the greatest actor in history Fred Savage playing Rex's best friend noah and the many other great actors in the show .

I have always been an action cartoon fan ever since the original Transformers back in 90s. And I really like the humor or should I call it wittiness of the protagonist (Rex). This is complimented well by the arch enemy Van Kleiss who has the best original theme music, go ahead fish it on you-tube.

Our hero is a teen struggling with various moral dilemmas about right and wrong when using his super powers. He has the ability to generate various mechanical stuff from his limbs using the nanites in his body. Actually the whole world is shown to be infected due to an incident but only he has the ability to command and control them. He can also cure others by diffusing their nanites. He is often seen comparing orders with moral consciousness about consequences. I love it all. And to add to it our hero is intelligent enough to take good decisions. He has Agent Six as a father figure to look up to, who looks like Agent Smith from Matrix but never the less, a bad ass mentor the kind not to mess with. He manages to balance Rex's silliness well. The side kick Chimp Bobo is also a likable character and adds to the mix. Doctor Holiday is a motherly figure although too pretty for Rex to accept, so he hits on her regularly. The wittiness is very good especially when it involves Van Kleiss.

I like stories which detour the least from main story line but with Rex even the detours are fun to watch. Overall one of the best action cartoons out there.

Though it is often overshadowed by other Cartoon Network series of the time such as Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Generator Rex is one of best action cartoons in Cartoon Network's history, and was an outstanding hidden gem of early 2010s animation. From the creators of Ben 10, the series features a high quality of storytelling, comedy, and action acting in concert to produce what can only be described as an underappreciated children's TV masterpiece.

The story takes place five years after an apocalyptic event spreads incomplete microscopic nanites across the globe, infecting every living thing. These nanites activate at random and cause rampant mutations in their hosts, transforming them into creatures known as EVOs. Providence is an international organization tasked with containing or eliminating the EVO threat and studying nanites. The main protagonist of the story is Rex, an amnesiac EVO who has the ability to control nanites to a degree, which among other things allows him to construct biotechnological weaponry from his body. Alongside his caregivers at Providence, Rex fights to keep the world safe from dangerous EVOs all while seeking out the truth about his past and the origins of the Nanite Event.

In terms of storytelling, Generator Rex exhibits a quality not often seen in children's shows, especially in the modern day. In a day and age when good story has been increasingly forfeited to low-brow comedy and memes (i.e. the Ben 10 reboot), Generator Rex is a reminder of the fact that kids can handle complex, emotional, and quality storytelling. For all three seasons, Generator Rex develops a consistent and overarching plot filled with mystery, discovery, and character development that leads to a fully satisfying conclusion. It's the very best of what action cartoons can be.

Generator Rex's pacing is good, and each episode is satisfying and exciting, and most of them contribute to the overall plot. However, even "filler" episodes were filled with charm thanks to the series' humor, fantastic characters, and quality animation and action sequences. Man of Action, known for creating Ben 10 and Big Hero 6, truly let their skill shine in this series. It's worthwhile to watch through the entire show to discover all of its secrets and experience the emotional journey of its characters, especially Rex. Even if you're not looking for plot, expect good laughs, excitement, atmosphere, and music abounding in this wonderful show. I consider it to be one of the best animated action series of this decade, and though this is merely my opinion, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who didn't think of Generator Rex as a solid, interesting, and fun cartoon all the way through.

The greatest villain I have ever seen on TV A cold-blooded villain who speaks in a polite and calm manner all the time, and has the best soundtrack for the character ever, yes Van Kleiss is the greatest character I've ever seen and I loved the show thanks to him and if there was a reason worth getting 10 out of 10 it would be because of him

Where has this show been my whole life? Short story I am a person obsessed with the series Oz starring J.k. Simmons and my favorite film is Whiplash and both of them starring the great j K. Simmons and this made me look for any other work involved in it and here I found myself watching this great animation series for him and I have surprises. Everything here is perfect, especially voice acting, and I was surprised when I found That wally kurth himself performed agent six with the best acting ever , which is undoubtedly shocking! Wally deserves an award for his performance of the underrated voice act. Fred Savage is one of my favorite stars, and as they said in Family Guy, Fred Savage is the greatest actor of all time 😂 performing one of my favorite characters here, the wonderful Noah Nixon. Troy Baker is my favorite star when it comes to video games and now he amazes us with his vocal performance as a van kliess the most character loved by the fans and certainly from me too. There's also Claire and Annie act by Danica, Felicia Day and Man, they are my favorite female characters on the show. In conclusion, I would like to say that this animation is great and rich with the amazing acting crew.

The show as a extremely original premise, a great main character and a great supporting cast. It gets progressively better each season. I hate how little attention it got, it seems like cartoon network never really cared about it. Despite my love for this series I wish it had been longer it had potential to be the very best.

Amazing show. One of the best Cartoon Network shows. This show had amazing animation, great fight scenes, the jokes were good, the weapons were cool, the enemies were cool, and it had well character-driven stories. Whatever the show did wrong, it made up for it in style. There were many deep moments. It teaches nice morals. It teaches people to value life, help others even though they don't appreciate you, and act mature when the time is right. The romance was not so great in my opinion. Agent Six was awesome. Doc Holiday was an interesting character, mainly because of how she dealt of what happened to her sister. BoBo was just there for comedy relief. Nothing special. White Knight had character development throughout the show; from seeing Rex as a weapon, to seeing him as a human and a friend. Noah was okay. If you don't find this show good, I don't know what you find good.

The show is a little complicated and contains three types of episodes: Main episodes like the first ten episodes. Side Story Episodes Like the Hunter episode, the Knight Falls episode, and the Enemys mine, where there is a story that is not essential but a sequence that you can watch or skip, but I advise you to watch it. Filler Episodes: or what you called ova in animes Do not talk about it in a challenging way and it often forms extra filler loops like the Japanese OVA in anime. The first Filler episode in the series is the operation: Wingman, which revolves around the prom party, which is a funny episode, and then any episode in which the two girls, Claire and Anni who are in some Filler episodes, I recommend watching. Generator Rex is a new animated series created by Man of Action (The creators of the Ben 10 trilogy) and it is very well done, animated, written, and acted. The plot is a 15-16 year old named Rex has powers to create various mechanical powers to his body. This is due to a mysterious even that caused things called nanites to live in every single living thing on earth, but some go bad or have powers, they are called evos . He fights along side his caretaker, Agent Six, his friend, a evo monkey named Bobo, a young attractive doctor named Doc Holiday, and a human friend named Noah. They fight against the Evil Van Kliess, who plans to mutate every living thing on the face of the planet. The series is a witty, action-packed series, that proves that Cartoon Network still has it.

Generator rex is a fantastic action cartoon with intresting plot, cool action scene, and very solid humour And the show have explained everything in a very good way, and it deserve to be overrated. The animation is good and the quality of the animation is very high quality.

The show is interesting, I did not watch it when I was young, but I decided to try the first episode, and I am writing this review now after finishing the series, this was the best animation series I have seen since Avatar The Last Air Binder !!! I did not expect anything when I saw its low rating at the beginning and the lack of viewing it is strange that even the Carroten Network decided to renew it for three seasons, but this is for my luck. Everything is perfect but I want to talk about my favorite character in the show, which is Van Kleiss! Attractive and charming character representing the best voice actor Troy Baker, his calm personality and manner of speaking reminds me of Hannibal Lecter, his manipulation, sharp intelligence, personality design and shape everything is attractive but the most important thing was his theme music the best thing I have ever heard. So I don't care if the majority like it, but I think it deserves the appreciation

From the other I will say the following (a great show worth watching and yes contains problems but all the shows have problems so don't worry about the problems and focused on great things like the characters and the convincing voice acting of all the crew, especially Wally Kurth, J.K. Simmons, Troy Baker, Darryl Sabbara, Gray, John Demago and even Fred Savage, etc., the show is perfect despite its flaws and its plot, but that's not what I'd like to talk about right now). What I want to talk about is how much this show was shown at the wrong time, and if this year's show would have been one of the best shows ever, I demand man of action to make the fourth season taking advantage of the current circumstances because it would be a successful hit for the series. The series does a wonderful equality for both sexes in terms of action and the status of women and you have strong female characters and not made up like Dr. Holliday or Black Knight and even Claire and anni are Great examples.

My friends and I decided to do a set of references and make Reviews in which we thank the vocal crew for their submissions and to object to what happened in the special episode released in This year, where Wally Kurth was replaced by another voice actor, an ill-considered decision by Man of Action.

Why not thoughtful? Simply because the series has a perfect cast who love their characters and are ready to return, and Wally himself announced that he had no knowledge of a new episode! We just want to appreciate Wally Kurth, and his Great performance for Agent Six, and Troy Baker, performer of Van kliess, Also hoping that the role will be restored to Wally Kurth and that no one else will be replaced, especially Troy Baker and Fred Savage.

How is this show at 7.5 when most of its episodes are rated more than 9...doesnt make sense, this show should have an overall rating thats at least 8.8 and above cuz the way its episodes are so highly rated really shows thats its definitely one of the greatest tv shows in history. Its really an underrated gem.

I came here to write a confrontation and did not expect many reviews from this year. It seems that the similarity of the events of the series with the reality that is happening in our world this year has increased the fame of this beautiful series. At first I want to say that this is one of the best shows I have seen this year and that the music is absolutely amazing except for the lead song, which I think is quite annoying except for that. Everything is wonderful, the first season was beautiful, but the second season is real talk and the third season is my favorite despite the presence of many Of the haters of the series and its very low rating, I think that this show deserves a rating of at least 8.4 in the site, but it seems that the site has become completely trivial. Most of the bad shows have high ratings and good shows low ratings. I love this series so much

People start to know this show in 2020 because the pandemic , the fandom reawekend for the first Time since the show End in 2013 and i Am thinking this is the right Time to bring Rex Back for the Final season That cartoon network canceld it beafor it get aired.

I want a fourth season immediately, not a damn reboot. Everything I read this morning made me devastated when I found out about the return of Rex Krypto, instead of bringing him back to his final season. In one, they were the worst news I heard in my life. Before we get started you must know what REX means and why we need a fourth season. There are many reasons and questions left by the open end and additional plots from season three, such as the following: 1. What happened to the consortium? 2. What happened to Van Claes? 3. Will the fourth season be converted to an image closer to the original comics? 5. More character development like Rex and Noah and more fun Filler episodes. 6. Flashback episodes for Agent Six, Van Claes, British, and even Black Knight. 7. There's more, but I think it's enough for now to know that Season 4 is completely ready for the making
