Veda's singing parts were actually performed by world-renowned coloratura soprano, Sumi Jo. The filmmakers used some of Jo's existing recordings along with new recordings made specifically for this movie. Evan Rachel Wood (Veda) worked with Deborah Surdi, a vocal coach at the Opera Orchestra of New York, to learn proper posture and breathing techniques.
First appearance in the series by Evan Rachel Wood playing Mildred's ghastly daughter, Veda, now all grown up.
Kate Winslet shares a scene with Hope Davis. Davis played the role of Nancy in the Broadway play 'God of Carnage,' while Winslet played it in the film version, Carnage (2011).
