Storyline

After forty years of armistice, the Cylons attacks the Twelve Colonies of Kobol. Their strategy: a virus implanted into the mankind defense system. The former Battlestar Galactica, which is being adapted into a museum, is not connected with the defense system and becomes the only warship capable of fighting against the Cylons in the hopes of leading the survivors to planet 'Earth'. Goofs

In their first meeting since the attack on the Colonies, President Roslin asks Commander Adama if he is planning a military coup. He responds by telling her his plan to take the Galactica to resume the fight. She then says, "I honestly don't know why I have to keep telling YOU this...the war is over". This is the first time they've spoken face to face since the attack. The only other person she's told that they've lost is Colonel Tigh. Or maybe she's just too flustered to remember who she's told what. See more »

Quotes

Laura Roslin: Firstly, I suppose that I should thank you for deciding to bring us...
Adama: Listen, you were right and I was wrong. Let's leave it at that.

Episode 2

Maybe as the years go by the political allegories presented here might get lost.

The two most important developments in this episode. The cylons have infiltrated the human population, they might be in the Galactica already and implemented devices.

Adama tells the crew and survivors that they need to leave their solar system and find a way to the mythical planet Earth.

The relationship between Gaius and Number Six seems to developing a life of its own.

A good strong second episode. After seeing the various human Cylons. You can sense why after this two parter, a full series was launched.
