To be a talented head chef is to be a modern celebrity. Everyone wants to be you, wants to love you, wants to kill you. When a famous head chef gets the chop, Homicide is faced with his melted corpse and a smorgasbord of suspects. This was not murder in cold blood. It was an angry, passionate, hate-fuelled act. This murderer knew their victim. But that doesn't narrow down the suspect pool; this star chef had a queue of people eager to take him down. Detective Senior Constable Rhys Levitt is young, confident, highly intelligent and has just joined Homicide. Rhys doesn't really need to be a team player to get the job done. But that's not how this crew works. To Jennifer's irritation, she cops the short straw in breaking this newbie in.
