I don't why, but the Lumiere Bros loved filming small children eating, which is what we see here for about 35 seconds. A little boy, sitting between two small baby girls, proceeds to feed them grapes. Like the Lumiere's "Baby's Meal" they are also outdoors, with a big plant moving behind them. Marcel Koehler, who stars as the little boy, is quite energetic in the short run-time and makes a good performance.
Because of how short this is, there's no way to judge it like you'd judge a film of today. It's simply a scene a boy feeding two girl babies. I wonder if it was staged, though. Did they set up this table outside and had them sit there? One would think there would have been a parent eating with them. It's a fun actuality all in all, not anything special but one that will entertain fans of these Lumiere films.
