Did You Know?

Goofs

Vargas mispronounces his very own corps, the Mossos d'Esquadra, as "Mossos de Estrada". It was not pronounced Estrada by Vargas. It was pronounced correctly in Spanish. In Spanish, this "qu" is pronounced like /ca/ and can sound like /tr/ to someone not familiar with the Spanish pronunciation. See more »

Que Pasa?

A mist - a spray - that shoots down alcohol on dancers at a club begins this episode as we see a lot of great bodies all gyrating to the music and literally lapping up the alcohol from each other.

The club's owner makes his rounds and seems happy, but the scene quickly switches to his dwelling later in the night where is laying dead on the ground in his living room, a victim of stab wounds. The weapon is nowhere to be found but his bloody footprints are all over.

What's the deal? Could this be a suicide instead of a murder? Mac Taylor begins to wonder as the clues unfold, but he isn't sure. Either is the Barcelona detective who happens to beat Mac to the crime scene, and is related to the Spanish victim. Another mystery. Watching this episode, I was never sure (nor as Mac) if the Spanish detective was on the level, or part of the crime. In fact, the victim's girlfriend is also a big suspect here and seems to know more than she's telling.

The mysteries are not solved until the very end with a "verdict" that is a little unusual for the CSI shows.
