If you watch all 4 seasons like me and get to the last episode, Paranoid Android, you will be so peed off you ever started watching this, believe me. The ending just leaves you wanting to find out what happened but in the knowledge you never will. A bit like considering buying a book with the last chapter missing, you just wouldn't buy it would you!

I decided to record this show because I liked Poppy Montgomery when she was in Without a Trace. I wasn't sure how the concept of this show would play out and if it would be interesting to watch, but I was not disappointed. The pilot had me hooked right away. It was filled with suspense and kept me interested through the whole episode.

I couldn't wait to see the 2nd episode. I really enjoyed the 2nd episode too and the twist that was added as far as character development.

This show has great potential and I hope it stays on the air and continues to be good. The chemistry between the two leads is very strong. I can't wait to see more.

Thrilling and amusing series about a team of criminal investigation from a Police Department , they carry out their cases with extreme intelligence and effectiveness . This effective NYPD team of agents is based in New York . Formed by Carrie Wells , a former police detective, has a rare ability to remember virtually everything she experiences including detailed visual recall. As Carrie : Poppy Montgomery suffers from a condition called Hyperthymesia, which is a condition that 'allows for an uncanny recollection of personal memory. Her recollections are accurate , at times for sunrise and sunset are based on NYC time . She returns to police work and uses her ability to solve crimes. She can do anything but forget . While Dylan Walsh playing her chief , Lieutenant Police Inspector Al Burns. He was Carrie Wells lover in the past, and decides to get her to join his staff, even though she has been involved in illegal gambling and counting cards for nine years .

The expert agents pull off their missions resolving criminal cases and in most episodes , Carrie shows efficiently her strength and vulnerability by using a 'trick' of her memory - someone gives her a date, and she tells them what day of the week it was , sunrise or sunset , and major events of the day . Carrie feels responsible because of the murder of her big sister , Rache l, when they were children, it was a traumatic event that is compounded by the fact that Carrie she can't remember specific details of Rachel's killing and it remains still unsolved. Carrie is really haunted as an adult because it's the only thing in her entire life that she unfortunately can't remember . Lieutenant Inspector Al Burns and Carrie Wells keep their professionality for the first season , they beginning being friends with benefits in the following seasons . They share a wonderful relationship , though she is constantly disobeying his orders as well as the police department protocol . Adding a sympathetic support cast who did a very good job with very attractive acting from player Michael Gaston as Mike Costello who provides credibility of the police department very well . Another great supporting actor in the first season was Kevin Rankin as Roe Saunders , playing the ordinary but rookie street cop detective . While Daya Vaidya performed Nina Inara, a detective with real attitude . And Dallas Richards who becomes their new boss in the second season and he delivers to this enjoyable show some comedy touches .

It is formed by by 61 episodes, 2011-2016 , in 4 seasons , all of them starred by Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh . First episode deals with a murder reuniting former detective Carrie Wells with her old colleague and flame , she must utilize her rare ability to revisit her every memory to catch the killer . The second episode concerning a young boy witnesses a murder, Carrie must put aside the memories of her sister's death to help him lead the police to the killer. And third episode regarding a hotel maid who is accused of murdering a guest who she says tried to rape her, Carrie takes matters into her own hands to uncover the truth, threatening Al's investigation . Originally debuting in 2011 and then canceled by CBS after the first season, this show was revived as a summer series in 2013. It then ran for two more seasons before getting canceled a second time in late 2014 . In early 2015, the cable network A&E picked it up, announcing another 13 episodes and finishing in 2016 . Along the way , CBS making notable changes though were mostly in the cast but they kept Poppy Montgomery , Dylan Walsh and Jane Curtin. ¨Unforgettable¨ boasts a great number of known guest stars , such as : Skeet Ulrich, Annie Parisse, Erin Cummings, Craig Bierko, Kelly Overton, Lauren Velez , Scott Cohen , Elias Koteas , Bruce Davison , John Doman , Gary Basaraba, Casey Siemaszko , Ashanti , Frankie Faison , Cotter Smith , Sebastian Roché , among others . Being professionally directed by a good plethora of television directors , such as : Jean de Segonzac, Matt Earl Beesley, Peter Werner, Oz Scott, John David Coles, Anna Foerster, David Platt , Aaron Lipstadt, Michael Pressman, Christine Moore, Matthew Penn, Rick Bota, Nick Gomez .

Difficult scoring as the program is excellent, I really enjoy the idea of it but the main character is the most annoying person I have ever seen! Her memory skills are amazing and makes for good twists in the story however her attitude and the way she is always right and dismisses people is unbelievable, rude and quite frankly unrealistic. The writers have tried to give her some faults (gambling and being a maverick) to make her more human but fail miserably.

Even with her memory she wouldn't be right this often and why should having a flawless memory mean you can do whatever you want without consequence?

The concept would get a 10 but the main character would get a 2 (and that's generous)in the scoring.

I like this show but as I am near the end of the series I am really over Poppy Montgomery thinking that she is the sexiest thing God-created. I'm sure this is just her part in the series, but its just too much.

I actually really really loved the concept of this show and am a huge fan of Poppy -- she is perfect for the part. I like how she has this out of body experience (which it really isn't). It just shows you how she puts her theory together by using her fantastic flawless memory - I will continue watching this show - CBS needs to give this show a chance bc its totally different from any other detective series. I also like her backstory about her sister Rachael - it shows how vulnerable Carrie's character is and why she is not anxious becoming a detective again. But, w/her abilities of course she would help out a lot. I also like the whole cast, Dylan Walsh is perfect as her ex boyfriend/partner -- ppl need to give this show a chance and not give up so easily, bc it will progress and become even more interesting.

The show does not feature an ensemble as in "Without a Trace." Poppy is on camera way too much. And when she's flashing back with her photographic memory everything goes to slow-mo and let me tell you by the end of the show you've seen that enough. With the exception of the lead, the characters are not developed and are uninteresting. We know that her love interest is still in love with her - but what the viewer can't shake is why? What's so great about her character that this great guy thinks she so fabulous? She seems pretty boring to the viewer. Additionally, although the leads former love interest is a terrific actor - he has no chemistry with Poppy. I think that Poppy was offered her own starring show and couldn't resist. Although a terrific actor Poppy doesn't really have a large enough array of acting tools or enough personal charisma to carry an entire show - in this pilot she's expected to. She has an air of indifference (especially toward men) that make her in a starring role - a let down in general. I would love to see her back in an ensemble - but I won't watch this snoozer again.

I like all the actors in this series, especially like Jane Curtain. I've only seen her in comedy previously which she was great at, but she also plays a serious role absolutely amazing!

Unforgettable has lost season one's intrigue and cast. The dynamics no longer work. Everything centers around Poppy. Pretty but not the best actress in the world. Her depth is weak and emotions, responses typical. Even story lines lack luster. Sure they have new props and technical gadgets, but so what..everyone does these days. Enjoyed first season. They had interplay with all the cast, not just her. The stories were more intense and showed a sense of drama. Of course, I liked Jane Curtain in SNL, who didn't? Liked her in season one, but she is stale and predictable as well this time round. The rest of the characters exist without existing. I have no idea who or what they are. I was looking forward to watching this year's shows. The idea was and is intriguing, but ideas without depth become boring and ...forgettable.

First off, I loved the new cast from last season, but 2 of my favorite actors left the show, Dallas Roberts (one of the newest members) and Jane Curtin (whom I miss terribly). I also love the new cast members from the current season. I think they're great.

The cast isn't the problem, it's the horrible errors committed in the newer episodes. Examples: Detective has a suspect in plain view from the top of the stairs which open into a wide area, takes WAAAAY too long to reach the bottom and "loses sight" of the suspect. There is literally no possible way he could have lost sight of him let alone taken more than a few seconds to get to the bottom! The suspect sure didn't! Another example (happens a lot now) a detective has a very, VERY clear shot at a suspect (sometimes from 8 to 15ft away) but doesn't think they have a shot? OMG this is getting sillier and sillier.

It's time to fire the director and some of the technical advisers (if you want to save the show) or axe the show completely (which almost happened TWICE before). I don't see this show making it through 2016 unless they tighten their ship.

A fairly standard police show, with the hook being the woman with the perfect memory who never forgets anything. The cases are routine and there's no absolutely chemistry between the cast members. Worst of all is that the lead actress, Poppy Montgomery, seems weirdly miscast in her role. Either that or the writers/directors are mismanaging her badly. Watching her twirl her hair around her finger, bat her eyes coquettishly, and giggle like a little girl is just flat out embarrassing. She's supposed to be a 40 year old police detective, yet she has all the mannerisms of a fairly air-headed teen-aged girl. What the heck is that all about?

Because this is such an interesting premise (a woman uses her memory as a means to solve crimes), I decided to at least watch the pilot. Unfortunately, here is a show that doesn't translate from paper to TV screen. Somehow, the characters and story just never gel. Poppy Montgomery doesn't bring any of her acting talent from "Without a Trace" with her. But then again, that was just a role played opposite other actors. Unforgettable is inaptly titled: there's nothing here worth remembering, or to make me want to watch a second episode. I'd be surprised if this lasted even a full season.

This show goes from cancellation to renewal? Makes no sense at all.

The first season was the best as there was always this backstory mystery the character is trying to solve and played a vital role in the present story. After the first season, that goes away as does some great supporting cast. During the next 3 seasons, there is this awkward flirting between the main characters that never goes anywhere but is always shown. The last season loses it when two more characters are replaced. The addition of Padilla makes it worse. His character is constantly annoying.

I totally love everything about this show ... the concept is fantastic and actually believable! All of the actors are superb, particularly Poppy Montgomery, Michael Gaston and Dylan Walsh! Also, the skepticism shown by team members Kevin Rankin and Daya Vaidya are absolutely perfect!

In a lot of ways, Carrie is the female version of Patrick Jane from The Mentalist. I love the strength and vulnerability displayed by Carrie and Patrick Jane. Jane's wife and child were murdered by Red John and Patrick feels responsible because he taunted Red John on television. With Carrie, the murder of her big sister, Rachel, when they were children, was a traumatic event that is compounded by the fact that Carrie she can't remember specific details of Rachel's murder and it remains unsolved. It haunts Carrie as an adult because it's the ONLY thing in her entire life that she CAN'T remember! Carrie's childhood experiences with cops and shrinks investigating Rachel's murder, make her a better cop as she is more aware of the trauma being experienced by both victims and witnesses alike.

Good writing, good acting and good time slot are all high praise to CBS! I just hope they will give Unforgettable a fair chance to develop a strong following. Having Poppy Montgomery with her Criminal Minds fan base and Michael Gaston with his Mentalist fan base are an added bonus for the show. Having the show follow solid shows like NCIS and NCIS: LA make Unforgettable's ratings almost a guarantee.

If you like crime dramas where a main character has some kind of supernatural power, or outrageously advanced mental abilities, then you'll love Unforgettable. As for me, I don't dislike the show, but it's not my favorite either. I had never watched a full episode until recently. Considering the premise - a detective who has a superior autobiographical memory - I thought I would be hooked to the television screen. Eh, not so much. I watched the episode to the end, but my mind did wander a few times.

Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery) is a detective originally from Syracuse, who moved to New York City to escape the pain and trauma of her sister's murder investigation being stopped. She has hyperthymesia, a rare condition where a person remembers every detail of their past - events, surroundings, conversations, etc. Of course, this is greatly useful for identifying and locating homicide perpetrators. The acting is just okay. The use of technology is intriguing to watch. Otherwise, this show is nothing to write home about. There's a lack of realism with Carrie, in terms of her hyperthymesia. The writers make it out to be something that classifies her as a superhuman, when in real life, people who have hyperthymesia can experience a substantial level of distress. I suggest doing research on it - what you'll find out is nothing like what this show portrays. Jill Price, the first person to be diagnosed with the condition (she's an author), has stated the constant, nonstop flooding of memories often has her feeling exhausted. So it kind of annoys me how in Unforgettable, Carrie's hyperthymesia is depicted as less of a hindrance and more of an advantage over the rest of the population. Also, I noticed Poppy Montgomery has a very soft and whispery voice, so make sure you have the volume on high. It's a decent show to watch, if you have nothing to do and you like crime dramas. But I've definitely seen better.

I wanted to like this show, I really did. But it suffers from too many issues, and after 6 or 7 episodes, I've given up. Poppy Montgomery's WAT character, Sam Spade, became extremely popular, and like so many TV actors whose characters skyrocket like that, the actor herself became lazy. Although she attempts a decent American accent, her vowels are heavily colored with Australian diphthongs, and she really needs a diction coach. Her character, Carrie Wells, isn't even all that likable - she's a bit arrogant and ill-mannered, and completely fails to evoke sympathy for her past. Unlike Jane Timoney in "Prime Suspect," however, Carrie isn't a brilliant detective, she just has a really good memory. The producers of the show and Montgomery herself apparently want to show off her incredible physique, but she's so hardbodied it's almost a caricature. Tight, skimpy tank tops, heaving cleavage, and close-up shots of a butt made out of granite aren't really all that attractive. There was a recent web post somewhere about how Robin Tunney's portrayal of Teresa Lisbon on "The Mentalist" shows women in law enforcement in a positive and professional light - Montgomery's appearance and performance in "Unforgettable" do just the opposite. So, I give up. Bye, "Unforgettable."

The other reviews criticizing her total recall, but yet taking time to recall something relevant to the case are bogus. She obviously needs to be stimulated or have some pertinence to recall the memory. The fact that she should not see herself in the memories maybe valid but a sorry reason to dismiss the show. If someone has a special gift, who is to say exactly how this gift works. I enjoy trying to figure out the cases and stimulating my mind versus watching mindless reality television. It is not the best new show out there but it is definitely worth watching. I would compare it to Monk which an extremely popular show. The only part that I do not like about this show and many of the new shows is the darkness used in shooting scenes. I do not understand the need for so much darkness and on the new televisions you can hardly see the dark scenes.

The show is very refreshing change to reality television.

I can't believe I'm writing this but, aside from enjoyiing the show in a sort of general way (I like ensembles and shows that give views of cities and landmarks), I'm so conscious of the fact that she's ALWAYS wearing 4" heels. Chasing perps through Central Park, checking out a murder scene on sand, racing along side streets and fire escapes. I mean, aside from dressing in cleavage-revealing, sleeveless tops in her official role of police detective - could she do that in 'real life' ? So I figure that they give her tennis shoes to use and heels for the long shots. Really? I'm watching Season 2, Episode 12 and in the last few minutes she actually admits that she 'had to save the world' so she took off her heels ('have you seen how high these things are?'). Why is it we always focus on the odd things, It's not just me. The glass half full in one shot, and full in the next shot.

The premise of the show is a good one, and I feel that by making just a few changes in the main characters, I would look forward to watching! A couple of reviewers hit the nail on the head. There is so little to like about Carrie, and so little to respect in her boss. I feel sorry for the more serious characters, plodding along, doing their jobs, and receiving no recognition on the show. Now I'll be petty...why does Carrie dress like an 18 year old, who shops at Discovery and dots (even her "formal wear")?

I guess I was hoping to find a replacement for Prime Suspect., which was an awesome and much more realistic show.
