Ayesha continues to push it, even asking Phil about True Love, but as with all other little problems, she simply makes the problem to away. Marion's death raises a few questions.
These days I very rarely give out a score of 10, but in this fifth episode it's the only score I can apply. 2024 has been quite the year for drama so far, and this episode was outstanding.
What a massive twist, that wasn't a revelation I saw coming, just when you think you know all, and where it's heading, it throws in a massive curve ball, a huge twist, meaning this show has now transformed into a very dark thriller.
Clarke Peters and Lindsay Duncan terrific once again, as they have been the whole way through, but I must applaud the performances of Phil Davis and Peter Egan, both showed their incredible talents off here.
I thought this was outstanding.
Please don't think I'm picking out anyone here, but how wonderful to see a cast ageing naturally, there's no Botox, fillers, nips and tucks to be seen, real people, how refreshing.
10/10.
