Fitting In

16 year old Lindy (Maddie Ziegler) and her mother Rita (Emily Hampshire) live in her late grandmother's house. Rita is a psychologist with issues. Lindy runs track with her best friend. She's dating Adam although they haven't gone all the way. She is diagnosed with MRKH syndrome and her world is turned upside down.

This is a Canadian coming-of-age indie with an outsider intriguing subject matter. Ziegler is working out her acting. The movie does throw me off a little by mentioning Ginger Snaps. For a moment, I thought this is going into horror territories. I do get the connection. Maybe they should mention a movie from a different genre. The subject matter may be awkward to many audience members, but that's kind of the point. It is not main stream movie material. They do handle it with care and skill. At its heart, it is a good coming-of-age movie.

A mature and different coming of age little atory and an interesting one, its fun and a blast to watch with the guys, it has a solid message and its just realistic

The dex talking is something all parents should have with their kids and that something a lot of parents are neglecting for fear and other reasons, this movie confirms that's it is important to have that talk that nobody wants to have ok guys.

The acting and everything about this movie is good and average and just ok, the point of the movie is the thing that really matters in here ok guys, kids need protection from social media and we are the only ones who can help.
