I have no idea why this series has such a low rating after only 4 episodes, on here I mean.
The series is a mixture of traditional values that are represented in the main female character's dad and modern, that is represented in the main male character's family.
The story is a fake marriage that has a potential to turn into real love. The characters have a lot of chemistry between them and it's a real pleasure to watch them from week to week. They seem to bicker a lot, but now they are slowly growing on one another and we're all rooting for them. The series has nice music, nice scenery and the actors are high quality. Definitely worth the watch.

I stopped watching Turkish series a while ago, they were long, cliche packed and it's the same characters all over again, they kept getting too repetitive for my taste, the episodes being 2 hours long didn't help, however, while this series follow the same scenarios and story, the characters give a completely new and refreshing interactions and situations, I like how the hero's character is written, he's super funny and sarcastic most of the time so when he show any other emotions like anger/sadness/seriousness it feels so real, the actor did a very good job!
The heroine's character is also amazing, I can relate to her personality sooo freaking much, I like that she's rational even with a fierce nature, like most of the heroines with "strong" personality don't even think before acting, and then they get into trouble, I wish that doesn't change but it's very unlikely, I would like for this show to surprise me tho.
All in all, I like how the story is fast based rather than the drama milking, "one piece stretching", stupid misunderstandings that last 3-5 episodes (2 hours each) kind of story.

First understand that the main characters are young and immature m. They both have issues centered around physical and psychological abuse which causes them to make decisions that cause more harm. Yes the series can seem repetitive but it's often how many people really live in real life stuck in a cycle. Ferrit has a hugs Ego which causes him to be psychologically abusive towards Seyran who has been physically abused by her father. I don't know no women that's willing to gladly share her husband with another woman just because that was his girlfriend. It's a good series, but it will drive you crazy because you want them to win as a couple. Ferrit is truly the Golden boy. You will strongly dislike his behavior, but they mans personality is Hilarious which makes you love him. Seyhan is dealt a bad had and often is gaslit for telling the truth and is not going to tolerate Ferrit. Her bruised heart and bitterness towards even being married has caused her to make decisions that cause her hurt. Seyhan feels like once they are together Ferrit will leave her. Ferrit uses "being" with Seyhan as a means to prove that he has all of her. They have love for each other, but loving each other seems impossible because of how they started they've marriage.

It's kind of hard to review this show because I hate it and love it at the same time. I am having a hard time watching this terribly abusive father, and despise him. But at the same time, he is kind of humorous in an almost cartoonish way. (Like his constant use of the word Blasen...and when he enters a room and flicks his shoes (gross) and when he acts like a big baby when he is hurt...and like a lion when he defended Ferit against the Mobsters.) There were times when I was completely disgusted with Ferit and his selfish behavior and blatant infidelity, but for the most part, he is ridiculously charming and I have now forgiven him of his "unforgivable" sins and love him most of all. He is absolutely endearing. As for Seyran, I love her strength and dignity but was super tired of her stubbornness. Even Suna was the best sister, defended her little sister, gave valuable advice and was amazing in almost every way but is so frustrating when she recoils and is unable to defend herself. I understand that abused people feel trapped but as the watcher, I am so frustrated. The mom, Esme and the Aunt Halice are loveable and annoying too. Mom needs a spine and Aunt needs to reel in the spite. Pelin is completely obnoxious but completely sweet at the same time. Every character seems to be great and terrible at the same time. The grandfather showed moments when he seemed extremely wise and honorable, but then he also showed a very very cruel and selfish nature. Ferit's mother Gulgun seems really sweet for the majority of the show, but in the beginning she seemed to be disrespectful to her incoming daughter in law in an effort to appease (and control). The only consistent ones (up to this point) are Abedin and Asuman. Overall, it seems that the psychology of this show demonstrates that wounds affect people throughout their whole life, hurt people HURT people, and sometimes true love conquers everything else.
This series offers so many complicated characters and funny one liners that it keeps me watching. It is so bad....but so so so good. I can't wait for season 2!
Well....here we are in season 2, and it's just getting worse. It seems the writers want to say this: Hate and anger are noble. I am over the hateful and nonsensical actions...mainly manifested in Seyran. It's true that Ferid did her wrong initially, but he consistently tried to help her while juggling the impossible feat of pleasing and honoring his family. I may be alone, but I don't see him as the bad guy but a courageous and loving man who is just trying to make right with everyone. Has she done anything of merit for him? Anger and hate cannot be your motive for anything good. Hate cannot do anything good...only love can. The writers seem to not understand that "getting even" is just circularly harmful. This show is just getting deeper and deeper in the muck. It's losing any morsel of joy that it once had. I wish they ended with a joyful wedding of the past. But not even 24 hours go by with joy in this story. Uffffff....very frustrating.

Its a nice story and good acting by the actors. Im from Sri Lanka and I wait anxiously for a week just to watch this. Ferit and Seyran does a good justice to the roles and they are very pleasing to watch. Hope it will have more episodes/ seasons. This is one of the best love story series after so long. Please continue the dizi dont stop half way.
All other charachters are also very good and they too does a marvelous job in their roles.
Still the story is more in thr mansion bound and its good if other nice locations too can be imcluded in future scenes so that it will not be monotonous background.

I'm really obsessed with this Turkish series this is pretty good I really recommend everyone to watch it because I Keep re-watching it million times and each time I fell in love with it more and more deserves 100000000 of 10
I could say the characters and the story and everything in the serious is written very well and what makes it the best Turkish series is the friendship between the characters so even if they stick with the scenario they're doing the rules and I promised everyone who is the planning to watch it you you will laugh and you will cry with the characters it contains everything show could need.

I love the story. Every episode is so exciting. I love how Ferit is so cute, always joking n smiling 😃 I love the way he says *Okay* so adorable. Hate 2 c him hurting when his grandfather shouts at him n the way he hit him 😔 I love his wife too. She is beautiful. I am at Episode 14 now n loving every moment of it. Would hate 2 reach the end of this amazing series. Feret's character is played so well and I wish he gets an award for his acting because it's an act to perfection. That mischievous smile. I love the series because of him. Awesome acting by all actors involved. Kudos 👏 to everyone 👏.
This series taught me each and mostly I say everything..what means family, to protect ur family, what love actually is..not leave in any situation even when your partner doesn't want you..despite sorrows and griefs if you're together you can fight till your last breath, what is sacrifice? It is something that you do endlessly without expecting returns from over it..to sustain life, no matter how much situation is worse..how are still fighting for the cause.
I have watched several series from different countries(Indian, American, Chinese, Pakistani, Korean, Indonesian, European(I know it's a continent 🌝),etc) but this Turkish drama hits different,it has essence, the true meaning of life..I mean what actually happens in our everyday lives..it depicted this with so much simplicity and realistic thinking. It can also hit your psychological thinking so hard..despite you don't want that to happen but it will trigger you..In this drama, you can't even skip a 5min watch..as it will leads to a different story line.
I'm saying this after watching whole series Of Yali Capkini
Thank you, Yali Capkini, for showing me the essence of life. For making me cry, think, hope, and love deeper.

This is one of the best tv series I have watched lately, and I so much look forward to watching the new episode every week. The story is based on a true story, which makes it even more interesting. Every episode ends in a way that you want to know what's gonna happen next. It's full of surprises. I understand why some people may have rated it lowly, but when you know the old traditions and have heard of similar stories of arranged marriage, it's not surprising. The families roots are from the eastern part of Turkey, but living in Istanbul, and the episodes encompasses lots of customs and traditions from the eastern part of Turkey although they live in a modern city like istanbul. The main character-Ferit is a jealous guy, but at the same time a.womanizer. He being indecent and trouble maker according to the family values, the grandfather who is a very rich, well-know man, wants him to get married to a decent girl from their hometown Gaziantep. The grandfather believes he will settle once he gets married and not bring shame to the family anymore. They find a girl, but Ferin wants his sister instead. And there the story begins. Some characters in the story show some aspects of how genders are perceived in most parts of Turkey; men overpowering women and belittling women, men having the every right to get educated, betraying their wives... all of which perceived to be somehow acceptable.
What's more interesting is that the writer of the story is a psychologist who is writing stories of her patients. The story is based on psychologically destroyed characters and how these characters manipulate others. It's definitely worth watching it if you are interested in human psychology and especially in modernized Muslim cultures.

I'm enjoying it! I also read some of what others are saying! It's true that the things the men are doing is not okay at all! What the women are being put through is horrible. It's a fantastic soap opera! If one of the reviewer's story is true, this is horrible to happen to a family. A reviewer said this is based on a true story. I just checked, I can't tell based on the internet. Some say it is and I found where Gulseren BudayIcIoglu signature is attached to this show. Gulseren writings are based on her patients. We know that the writers can and do make changes to sensationalize the story. Gulseren BudayIcIoglu has the Girl in the glass which is based on a true story. I'm also watching this one. I will say that this abuse goes on all over the world. I'm not seeing anything I haven't seen or heard before. It's sad and I wish it would stop. I'm a huge fan of Turkish programming!

I recently started to watch this show, and I became completely addicted to it.
The female lead is as strong and determined as you rarely see in Turkish series. However, she is lovely and sensitive at the same time.
Apart from her, the male lead stands out favourably. He is brilliant and completely lives his role. It is fun to see how bubbly, cheeky, flirtatious and annoyingly self-confident he is, and the way the young actor portrays him -naturally, with ease and explosive enthusiasm- makes the character even more adorable. He is hot-headed and makes mistakes sometimes -especially when he is furious or feels himself offended- but he also proves many times that his heart lies in the right place. Not to mention that he is devilishly handsome.
The dialogues are clever and well-written and the story mixes the dramatic and comic scenes very well. Through the eyes of the two families it also presents the awfully conservative and liberal approaches of certain life situations very well. The likeability of the interesting characters, the excellent interactions between them and the wide range of emotions they portray through their words, facial expressions and body languages make this serie uniqe and refreshingly different from the other TV shows.
Yali Capkini is purely wonderful and deserves every bit of those huge admiration and appreciation it gets week by week from its audience.

I love this TV series, especially because of the exceptional performance of the two young actors Mert Ramazan Demir and Afra Seracoglu, it has been a long time since I watched such an amazing acting performance, the wonderful chemistry between the two of them is magical, their body language is so expressive to the point that even the hand touch is exploding emotions throughout the screen... I really never seen in the recent decade any similar level of beautiful and emotional artistic gem that this TV series is offering.
Mert and Afra are a perfect match and I wish to see them together in many other TV series and movies because they complete each other in all aspects.

Many lives are like this and the series is showing the facts. After all, the subject of the film is a drama, not a romantic comedy.
The interesting thing about the series is that it is based on real life And we are seeing the process of depression of a disease that the pressures put on it by the people around it causes mental damage.
Another beauty of the series is showing different falling in love.
(love at first sight) Farid fell in love with Siran's beauty, style and behavior at the same time.
(hate to love) Siran's love has gradually turned from hate to love.
(having security in love) Abedin and Sona's love is born with mutual understanding.
When I read the comments of the series, I realized: There are many people whose lives are so easy that these things are unbelievable to them and they don't know that there is still misogyny and many other things in the world.
Some others also raised criticisms that showed that these people run away from the problems of life and realities and do not want to bear the reality.

It's a different take on this kind of story and I am very impressed by the writing of the characters and story progression. It's not perfect but a very interesting and captivating series which is the important part. It is definitely worth watching. The female lead is a strong, complicated character worth following. The male lead can be so frustrating but I still find myself glued to the story. It's also important to have the rest of the characters in a show having good story lines and development to make a show worth it. Which this show definitely has. I like when a story keeps you hooked and not knowing what will happen next.

It's baffling why some people are hating on this show. Turkish dizis, just like any good TV series, aren't meant to be all sunshine and rainbows. They dive into real-life issues, like toxic family dynamics, the pressure to marry for wealth, and the hidden lives of the rich and powerful. They even tackle the crucial topic of mental health. But what shines through is the importance of fighting for love, just like Ferit and Seyran do. Their story mirrors the unfulfilled dreams of Halis and Hattuce, and the resentment that Halis feels is all too real. It also demonstrates how far some individuals can go to disrupt happy couples and underscores the significance of trust in a relationship. Sure, Ferit isn't perfect, but his character growth throughout the series shows that people can change for the right person. I've been following this show since episode one, and it's become like family to me. It's incredibly relatable and feels like real life, thanks to the professionalism of the cast and the authenticity of the storyline. So, for those who aren't on board yet, just relax and enjoy the ride; Turkish dizis are all about love them or leave them. I highly recommend yali capkini for its realistic take on the world and real-life experiences. It's a must-watch that will leave you feeling like these characters are part of your own life!

"I just can't understand how some critics can be so indifferent to this wonderful film. Their criticism is not valid! This film is so beautiful and captivating that it's hard to comprehend how anyone could criticize it. For me, it's a masterpiece of cinematic romance, and I don't accept critics who can't appreciate the beauty and emotion that this series brings."
Love you SEYRAN.

Honestly I liked the show, I don't know why people are saying bad things about it. Of course this show is not for everyone,if you expect a normal romcom turkish show with simple and the same repetitive storyline like in most turkish shows then this show is not for everyone. I think this show is for matured audiences . I like how the issues like utter obsession, anger, domestic violence, extramarital affairs, mental illnesses etc. Are presented bcoz this is the reality of the society and they presented it to the audiences honestly, I liked that . It may look like very sadistic type of show but to show the truth u have to present the show honestly which is brilliant, I think I have explained enough to understand who can watch it who can't.......
