  Kit Twofeathers : That's different, I don't even belong here! By the way, I brought your ball back.

  [hands the ball to Max] 

  Kit Twofeathers : Guess the magic didn't work for me, either.

  Max Okowsky : What'd you expect? Magic has to come from here first, Kit.

  [Points at his heart] 

  Max Okowsky : Come on, give the team a second chance. Give yourself a second chance... before your chances run out.

  Kit Twofeathers : Too late. I'm going. It's been nice knowing you.

  Max Okowsky : Kit, if you think nobody wants you here, think again. Think about your uncle.

• Max Okowsky : Ya got a heck of an arm, kid.

  Kit Twofeathers : [Turning around suddenly]  Did you say something?

  Max Okowsky : I said you've got a heck of an arm. Don't mind the voice, it's rusty. I don't talk to people that often.

  Kit Twofeathers : Then, why are you talking to me?

  Max Okowsky : I thought you ought to hear what I have to say.
