- The team tries to figure out how Wilde stole the crown, while Astrid tries to corner her stepmother, Sophie.
- Trapped in the museum, the crew tries to avoid capture by the authorities, figure out where the stolen crown is, and bring Wilde to justice. Meanwhile, Sophie tries to make amends with her stepdaughter Astrid, who is trying to arrest Sophie for the theft of the crown.—Gislef
- The police come into the museum, and Astrid joins them. They try to figure out who set off the alarm, and she figures Ramsey had accomplices and tells the police to lock down the building. Out in the food truck, Breanna warns the rest of the crew via the comms that the alarm is building-wide, and she warns that she doesn't have control of the security systems. Sophie freezes up for a moment, and Eliot gets her moving. The security gates come down, cutting Eliot and Sophie in the display room off from Parker and Harry.
Breanna tells the crew to get access to the security control room and open the gates from there, using Dunbar's security override code. Getting the code would also give Breanna access to the security footage so she can see how Wilde stole the crown. Sophie sends Harry and Parker to break into the control room and tells Breanna to get the code from Dunbar.
In the food truck, Breanna truck dons one of several sets of clothes in storage and figures she'll be someone else. Dunbar is outside the museum, and the police won't let him in. As Dunbar leaves, Breanna bumps into him posing as a report, and says that she heard he took down Ramsey. Flattered, Dunbar agrees to talk to Breanna and she takes him aside to taker a selfie. While she does so, she pickpockets his phone
Sophie asks Eliot what he meant when he said earlier that he knew Wilde would try something. Eliot says that he asked Billy earlier what happened between Sophie and Wilde. Sophie is angry that Eliot pried into her past, and Eliot says that he needed to know how much Wilde hated her, and points out that Sophie couldn't see it and gave Wilde another chance, and now her crew is in danger.
Parker and Harry enter the vents in the new museum construction, and Breanna directs them to the control room. Breanna boasts about how perfect her lift was, and Henry talks about how good a job he's doing in the vents. He has a panic attack, and Parker isn't surprised. She tell him to stay there and continues on, When the guards is the control room go to investigate the noise Harry is making down the hall, Parker drops into the control room and Breanna sends her the codes. She opens the gate and gets Sophie and Eliot out, while Astrid comes down the hallway with two policemen. Parker sends the archival footage to Breanna, and Harry passes out, and Parker figures it'll be easy to get him out.
Astrid gets to the gallery and wonders why the door is open. She goes in, finds the crown missing, and calls in all available agencies to find and capture the crew.
The cops and agency men block off all the exits, and Breanna confirms that the Metropolitan Police have set up a perimeter around the whole museum. Sophie confirms from Breanna that the weakest security is at the docks, and texts Breanna a list of IDs they're going to need. Breanna says that she can handle the police with Harry's help.
Astrid talks to Commander Davies and demands to speak to Ramsey at the police station. Wilde comes in, and Davies confirms that Wilde is working with the police as a consultant. Wilde admits he tried to help Ramsey steal the crown the first time, and that Ramsey's co-conspirators sent Wilde to prison twenty years ago. He confirms that Parker and Sophie are there.
Eliot and Sophie get to the loading dock and Eliot knocks out the one guard on duty. Breanna sends them the fake IDs but warns that they won't stand up to scrutiny, and says that the footage is blank during the time of the robbery. Sophie figures that Wilde had someone block the cameras, and Breanna goes to meet with Harry.
Sophie tapes the fake badges into Eliot's wallet, and says that she wanted to believe her past was fixable and that's why she gave Wilde a second chance. Eliot tells her to stop, and she has a weak spot but it's a good weak spot. The entire crew are walking second chances, and they brought him along. Sophie assures him that he's redeemed as well, but Eliot says that he will never be redeemed and made peace with that a long time ago. That's why Wilde didn't fool him, and he appreciates the chance to be useful.
Breanna, posing as Harry, meets with Davies and says she's representing a client of extreme importance. She tells Davies to get all of his men out, and he refuses. Breanna says that her client is a corporate conspirator and witness, and he'll back out if he sees all of the policeman. Davies caves for fifteen minutes and Harry, listening via the comms, tells Breanna that he's proud of her impersonation of him. As Davies goes with them, Breanna secretly plants a tracker on him.
Parker takes a reluctant Harry into another vent. Meanwhile, Sophie and Eliot get past a FBI agent using the fake badges, then get to the dock as Breanna drives the food truck in. Harry and Parker arrive via the vents, Sophie works out that Wilde left the museum empty-handed, so the crown is still in the museum. She figures Wilde wants to humiliate her by putting her in prison without the crown ever having left the museum. If they find the crown and put it back, they humiliate Wilde. Eliot thinks staying is a bad idea and Harry agrees, But Sophie insists they are taking Wilde down.
Sophie sends Parker to find out how Wilde got into the building, and Parker takes Harry with her. Breanna is to take truck out and reestablish her link with the cameras, while Sophie and Eliot go to search every place that Wilde could have hidden the crown. Eliot fights a wandering guard, while Sophie goes on ahead and Astrid, finding her, draws a gun on her.
Breanna parks the truck down the street and reestablishes the connection, and Davies and his men knock on the door. Breanna dresses up as a cook and opens the service window, and Davies tells her that she can't park there. She offers them free tea and crumpets as a distraction.
While Astrid and Sophie talk about how Astrid left her family, Eliot fights more guards. Astrid hears them and starts to call for backup, and Sophie asks her to wait and let her explain. Undeterred, Astrid tells her stepmother that she long ago figures Sophie married the duke because Ramsey told her to, and then she left. Sophie insists that she married the duke out of love, and it was safer to cut off all ties to her family. Astrid, crying, says that she's been looking for Sophie rather than Ramsey, and Sophie told Astrid to never let anyone put limits on her and then disappeared the next day. She says that she doesn't know Sophie's real name, and Sophie says Sophie is who she is.
Eliot takes out the remaining guards.
Astrid lowers her gun, and Sophie tells her that her crew are being framed. She asks Astrid to give her the chance to find the crown and deliver the real culprit. Astrid raises her gun and asks then what, and Sophie says that she'll let Astrid decide. Eliot arrives, disarms Astrid, and tells her to decide immediately. Davies calls Astrid.
Parker directs Harry in distracting an officer so Parker can steal his so she can use his notes of the officers' movements and find the gap Wilde used to sneak in. Problem is that Wilde is there. Harry tries to leave but bumps into Dunbar, who knows him from earlier when they met. Harry leads Dunbar into the next room, and Dunbar wants to know why Harry was in the gallery with Ramsey. Taking off his glasses, Harry says that he's undercover as an FBI agent, and Parker comes in posing as another FBI agent and says that they embedded Harry in a few days early. They ask for Dunbar to account for his whereabouts when the crown went missing, and Dunbar says that they can track his movements. His phone and museum ID are gone, and Breanna checks in via the comms and figures Wilde took them to sneak in himself. Breanna tracks Dunbar's badge while trying to keep the police there.
Eliot ties and gags Astrid, and Sophie apologizes to Astrid. Eliot tells Sophie that it's the way it has to be, and hides Astrid. Breanna calls everyone to say that she tracked all the badges and knows where Wilde hid the crown: in the Hanover wing.
Eliot, Sophie, and Parker go to the Hanover wing and find the agents guarding it. Breanna wants the crew that it will take her at least ten more minutes to reconnect with the cameras, and Parker says that she has her "best man" handling it. Meanwhile, Harry goes to the control room with Dunbar and says that guards not seeing anything during the robbery is suspicious. Dunbar is with Harry, and is glad to back him so Harry stops suspecting him. While Dunbar questions the guards and Harry "accidentally" turns off the cameras, , Eliot wonders if he can take out all the agents. Breanna says that she has him covered, having previously drugged the tea she gave to them. The trio stroll past the woozy guards.
Wilde finds Astrid and unties her, and she says Sophie tried her up. Wilde tells Astrid that Sophie sent him to prison twenty years ago and now has done the same to Astrid, and he knows exactly where Sophie has gone. Astrid calls to the police in the loading dock to go with her.
Dunbar and the guards trade accusations, and Davies comes in and complains that the situation is chaotic and the guards aren't responding. He notices that Harry has turned off the cameras, and Harry apologizes for the "accident".
Sophie finds a covered-over cavity, with the crown in it. As the trio leave, Astrid, her men, and Wilde come in and she says that they're under arrest. The police handcuff them, and Wilde takes the crown and gives it to Astrid. He tells Sophie that now she'll go to prison for stealing the crown, like she should have twenty years ago. The agents applaud as Astrid takes the trio through the lobby, and Sophie begs Astrid not arrest them and says that she loves her. Astrid tells Sophie that the latter doesn't love anyone but herself, and Wilde watches and smirks. Davies brings in Harry and hands him over to the rest of the police to be taken away.
Astrid thanks Wilde for his help, and she says that she's going to take the crown to the station for processing as evidence, while the museum resets its security in a few minutes. She steps away to take a call from the home office, and Wilde strolls to the crown's display room and takes the real crown out of a hollow in its case, rather than the fake Sophie found.
When Wilde turns, he finds Sophie, Astrid, Davies, and the police waiting. Sophie figures that Wilde wanted to humiliate her by never taking the crown out of its case, and Wilde realizes that Astrid believed Sophie. Sophie, Eliot, and Astrid set the whole thing up, and Sophie says that they followed Wilde's trail of bogus clues so he'd think they were fooled. The International Leverage team, Liam and Mirabelle, came in with their posing as policemen, and they were the ones Astrid called in from the docks..
Astrid puts Wilde under arrest and taken away, and he tells Sophie that she keeps getting to be superior and stepping on everyone around her, leaving nothing but damage in her wake. Sophie admits that she should have spoken up for Arthur twenty years ago, but she's not to blame for his life turned out. Every choice since then has been one he made. She says that she's a better criminal and a better person, and he tried to exploit that. Sophie tells Wilde that she's done feeling guilty about their past, and Astrid says that she'll make some calls and get Ramsey as Wilde's cellmate. The police take Wilde away as he begs Sophie to help him.
Later, Sophie sits in the gallery looking at the painting of her, the duke, and Astrid. Astrid comes in and sits with Sophie, and Sophie talks about how she remember a young Astrid as so loving with her new stepmother. She worried that someone would come along and break Astrid's spirit, and admits that it was her. Astrid tells Sophie that she never let anyone put limits on her, and Sophie tells Astrid that she'll go along with Astrid if she decides to arrest her. Astrid tells her stepmother that when she did a search of Interpol's dataset base for Sophie, she got a call from James Sterling telling her that she was being promoted for her work on the case. As Astrid goes to her plane to take her to her new assignment, she tells Sophie to keep in touch. They hug and Sophie leaves.
Back in New Orleans at the bar, Breanna, Parker and Eliot have drinks. Harry is packed and leaving, and he says that he's heading to the pro bono firm that he works for. Parker says that she already turned the job down for Harry, and Harry insists that he's not a criminal. She tells him that he is and it's okay, they need more good bad guys, and he should stop being so wishy-washy. Eliot agrees, and Harry gives in and they share a toast to him being part of the team.
Sophie comes in, not surprised that Harry is staying, and she figures she can take a break to catch up with Astrid... somewhere without extradition. Hardison calls them on video from the satellite, and he says that he needs their help getting back to Earth or he'll have to wait two months. They say he should stay up there because they're busy, and walk away.
The crew comes back, all having been joking, and they work through Hardison's plan to have Sophie pose as a cosmonaut and Breanna to get an engineering degree.
