Provenza's first ex-wife Liz arrives at Major Crimes to ask his help in getting her money back from a jewelry shop where she sold her wedding ring. Flynn and Provenza question an attractive clerk and Liz's ring is returned. The problem seems to be solved until they witness the clerk running out of the store with a male accomplice. When the detectives re-enter the shop to find the place ransacked, Flynn and Provenza are horrified to realize they allowed a robbery to happen right under their noses.
