After the death of her husband, Mrs. Selwyn is informed by DCI Gill Murray that they've found nothing suspicious in his death and it was likely the result of a fall in the bath. They have to re-evaluate their conclusions when one of the dead man's daughter's says her mother had told her years ago that she would kill her husband in just the way he died. Meanwhile, DCI Gill Murray decides that either Janet or Andy will have to leave the squad. For Rachel, it's the morning after the night before. She was at a hen party the previous night and is a bit worse for wear. Hung over, she doesn't remember much but it all bodes ill when she comes under suspicion of killing her former lover, Nick Savage.
