Today saw a major shakeup at the Los Angeles Clippers when the NBA team traded star Chris “CP3” Paul to the Houston Rockets. Great for Paul, potentially not so great for the Clippers, because fellow star player Blake Griffin is a free agent. With Paul moving to Texas, Griffin might find fewer reasons to stay with the Clippers, even if the team is reportedly gunning hard to keep him. If Paul and Griffin both end up leaving the Clippers, that makes Center DeAndre Jordan the team’s remaining superstar (for now), which as it turns out is extremely awkward. Because it’s.

Kevin Bacon wants you to know that “Dick” isn’t an asshole.
Bacon stars in the new Amazon pilot “I Love Dick” as the title character, the prickly (and somewhat mysterious) leader of an artists’ enclave in the tiny town of Marfa, Texas. Kathryn Hahn plays Chris, a filmmaker who comes to town with her husband, author Sylvere (Griffin Dunne).
“Transparent” executive producer Jill Soloway (who also directed the pilot) and Sarah Gubbins are behind “I Love Dick,” which is based on a 1997 novel that has become a cult favorite for its exploration of men and women relationships. On the show, Chris quickly finds herself attracted to Dick, and a complicated dance between all three of them promises to change all of their lives.
For Bacon, “I Love Dick” (if it is picked up to series) is his first regular TV role since Fox’s “The Following,” which had marked...

One Direction might be on hiatus, but the British boy band will briefly reunite – in cartoon form – this Sunday when the Made in the A.M. group appear on Family Guy. Entertainment Weekly has shared one of One Direction's cameos from the "Run, Chris, Run" episode, with the quartet appearing in one of Stewie's non sequitur flashbacks.
In the scene, the youngest Griffin brags to the family dog Brian about his ability to connect with the younger generation, which then cuts to a campfire scene where Stewie is telling One Direction scary stories.

Alex's trek through the film roles of actors who've played the Doctor reaches Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy...
Read the previous part in this series, Doctor Who: the film careers of Patrick Troughton and Tom Baker, here.
In March 1981, as he made his Doctor Who debut, Peter Davison was already one the best known faces on British television. Not only was he the star of both a BBC and an ITV sitcom - Sink Or Swim and Holding The Fort - but as the young and slightly reckless Tristan Farnon in All Creatures Great And Small, about the often humorous cases of Yorkshire vet James Herriot and his colleagues, he had cemented his stardom. The part led, indirectly, to his casting as the venerable Time Lord.
