The game is afoot

Warning: Spoilers
Having seen the evidence of Brody's treason, Saul takes it to David Estes and he authorises a surveillance operation against Brody… they don't only want him they also want his connections. Carrie is clearly pleased to be investigating Brody again even if she isn't officially back at the CIA. In order to rattle him into going to his contact Carrie arranges to 'accidentally' bump into him at CIA headquarters. If he does talk to his contact they can't spot it amongst the numerous meeting he has. As he sits in the hotel bar it looks as if he is about to call his handler but to everybody's surprise Carrie's phone rings… he wants her to join him for a drink. Away from the main drama Brody's daughter Dana is getting close to the vice-president's son Finn; the fact that he can arrange for them to have a private visit to the top of the Washington Memorial might have helped!

When it was revealed to the CIA that Brody was a traitor I was unsure what would happen next… after all the whole premise of the show so far has been that only Carrie suspected him and everybody else thought she was mad. Watching him to uncover his contacts seemed a good way to keep the drama going but the final scene ended that in stunning fashion… I have no idea what is going to happen next with Brody but I can't wait to find out! As always the acting is solid; Claire Danes does a fine job as the somewhat manic Carrie and Damian Lewis is good as the traitor Brody. The side story involving Dana is a slight distraction but it does at least serve to make his family look normal so we will care about them when the truth is finally revealed to the world… it can't be easy being a good person related to somebody who is universally hated for involvement in heinous crimes.

New Car Smell Homeland's best episode ever
ivo-cobra822 October 2012
Homeland is one of the best TV series so far. Season 2 episode 4 is one of the best one's ever. Finally, finally they catch Brody in act as terrorist. After i finished watching First Season in April the show become really realistic to me.About a marine who went missing for 8.years and got turned by terrorist after been captive in Iraq from 2003 till 2011 it was really realistic. Mostly the show reminds and mentions 9/11 attacks which was true and realistic.I wasn't been there but i saw it on the news that day. The first season was really realistic.I am glad that this show is only fiction but to me was realistic when Sgt.Nicholas Brody and Tom Walker were captive for 8.years in Iraq and they were team Marine One. I am still wondering how did Brody cover up for so long his involvement on an suicide attack to blow off in the shelter were Vice President William Walden was hiding. This Episode is really awesome and i love it so much. Season 2 finally explains and clears a lot then first season did.Best lines at the end of the episode Carrie said to Brody i love it so much. I really hope this show doesn't got canceled unexplained what will happen with Brody and Carrie at the end because i will be really disappointed. It has only 12. episodes in every season so far. I can't wait for a new episodes of Homeland.

Warning: Spoilers
Saul goes to David's house to tell him that it was Brody who had the vest on. He looks at the tape and sees it was Brody. Saul thinks that they should not just charge in on Brody but look from the outside. Jessica wants Brody to move out of the house because the embarrassment she made him go through. Dana talks to her friend Zander about the problems with her family and he seems to understand. Now since people have found out about Brody and how she was the one to find it all out. While doing some investigating into Brody Carrie meets Peter Quinn the man David has enlisted to help look on Brody, he and Carrie come up with the same plan but the tension is present straight away that the will clash. The plan is going through and the two meet which makes him feel shocked coming out of the CIA building. One of Brody's fellow army men comes to the house and bursts into the house, she calls Mike as she cannot get in contact with Brody. The surveillance begins and it seems that Brody is talking to his person close to Nazir. When Brody finally calls Jessica she does not need his help, then as Mike takes Lauder to his car he says that Tom and Brody may have been working as a pair that day. When Sauland David leave after getting some work done Peter and Carrie are left alone to do a night shift of work. Dana and the vice presidents son go to a private place where they both say they like each other. When she kisses him she is cheating on Xander. The hotel cameras then pick up on Brody in the bar, he seems to be strange around his phone. He then calls someone and it is Carrie, he wants to meet her there which puts her in the middle of things. During her conversation with Brody she is the one to bring up Nazir, he then try's to say sorry to her because he has caused it. He then brings up the shock therapy which seems to be a weak subject for her, he then ends the talk in the bar. Carrie then feels that it went horrible and she takes matters into her own hands by not listening to what they told her to do. She then comes to his hotel room door and she blows the whole operation. Then the backup are called in and they take Brody away while Carrie is left alone in the room. Fantastic episode and the ending hand me so worried of what he would do and it was a great acting piece for both of the main actors.

EPISODE GRADE: A (MVP: Claire Danes)

Warning: Spoilers
Finally the plot is on to something promising. Nothing more to really find in this show, would prefer to re-watch some Mission Impossible or some Jason Stratan fights.
