Regular Show may have very contained episodes, but there is an overarching lore and world building at play and this is the first episode where the writers make use of it

Warning: Spoilers
What a spectacular way to start the fourth season of "Regular Show"! This episode was enough to restore all my hopes about this series. After several disappointments in the third season, "Regular Show" returns better than ever.
"Exit 9B" was simply awesome. The first part had me hooked from the very beginning, and the second part was a pretty satisfying conclusion. I also liked very much the new character, which seems to be a pretty good addition to the main cast.
All the references to events from previous episodes were pretty well done, and it resulted in a magnificent episode, easily the best one in the entire series. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think that it was even better than "It's Time".
The fourth season of "Regular Show" started in the best possible way. It was simply awesome, and raised my hopes for the future episodes.
