"Game of Thrones: Destinations of Season 2" is a 6.5-minute documentary short film from 2012. It has its 5th anniversary this year and that shows you that season 2 of Game of Thrones is already quite a while in the past, but still going strong. The title already gives away that we find out about some of the key locations and places for season 2 of the successful television series and this is exactly what is included in here together with some cast members elaborating on these locations. This is maybe the weakest part of it all as hardly any of these have anything of value to say sadly. This does not refer to the people working behind the scenes and actually looking for these locations as their additions are appreciated. But Dinklage's words at the very end summarize it very well as this is another behind-the-scenes DVD featurette that hits rock bottom when the interviewees really have nothing to say other than what a great show this (Game of Thrones) is. And that needs to be included at under seven minutes? Seriously? Thanks to some really stunning video recordings here though I will be cautious and give it a thumbs-up nonetheless. Luckily not everything here sucked as much as the final Dinklage interview. I do not like GoT and think it is horribly overrated, but this little movie we have here was decent. Go check it out.
