Netflix in February: Here’s Everything Coming and Going

Netflix is out with its list of every new movie and TV show being added to the streaming service, and everything we have to say goodbye to in February.

Highlights include “To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You,” the sequel to last year’s smash-hit, “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” starring Noah Centineo and Lana Condor. That’s out Feb. 12.

Horse Girl,” starring Alison Brie as the titular socially-awkward equine enthusiast, is out Feb. 7. That same day, “Locke & Key” makes its series debut, following three siblings and their mother who return to their ancestral home after their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances.

New Video Shows How Netflix’s Locke & Key Series Was Adapted from Comic to Screen

Ahead of its February 7th premiere of Locke & Key, a new video takes a behind-the-scenes look at how Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez's beloved Idw graphic novels were brought to life from the page to the screen.

The new behind-the-scenes video offers a deeper look into the 10-episode first season of the adaptation of the Lovecraftian Idw comic book series that follows three siblings and their mother as they move into a creepy mansion in Maine that is home to more than just cobwebs and creaky floorboards.

The cast of the series includes Darby Stanchfield, Emilia Jones, Connor Jessup and Jackson Robert Scott as the Locke family members, who move into the mansion.

Joe Hill executive produces Locke & Key along with Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill, who also serve as co-showrunners. Additionally, Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti are among the executive producing team for the series. Stay tuned

‘Little Fires Everywhere’ Showrunner Liz Tigelaar Inks Pod Deal With ABC Studios

Writer/producer Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere) has launched Best Day Ever, a new production company, which has entered a two-year overall pod deal with ABC Studios. Additionally, former Netflix executive Stacey Silverman will serve as Tigelaar’s producing partner at the new company.

Tigelaar is currently showrunner and executive producer of the upcoming limited series Little Fires Everywhere, produced by ABC Signature Studios. Starring and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, the series is based on the bestselling novel by Celeste Ng, and debuts on Hulu on March 18.

“Liz is not only incredibly talented, but she’s exactly the kind of smart, collaborative, thoughtful showrunner that we want at ABC Studios,” said Jonnie Davis, President, ABC Studios. “Her work on Little Fires Everywhere has been extraordinary and her track record of creating emotional, dense, groundbreaking stories is the perfect fit with the direction our studio is taking.

CBS Picks Up ‘Silence Of The Lambs’ Sequel Show, ‘Clarice’ And Puts Another Nail In The Coffin Of ‘Hannibal’

It’s been five long and sad years since Bryan Fuller’s “Hannibal” was unceremoniously canceled by NBC. While fans keep waiting for good news that the show will be miraculously revived, CBS just went ahead and ate fans’ metaphorical liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti – meaning they have picked up a show about Clarice Starling appropriately titled “Clarice.”
