Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello’s seemingly perfect romance wasn’t meant to last. But after seven years of marriage, the couple announced their separation in July 2023—citing irreconcilable differences.
While the split came as a surprise to many, reports soon revealed the main reason: Vergara’s decision not to have more children. Her openness about the reason for their divorce – her not wanting more children – brought attention to Manganiello’s desire to become a father.

Reports have since surfaced suggesting Manganiello wants to start a family with his new girlfriend, but there’s no confirmation on the details of this relationship. Vergara, meanwhile, hasn’t commented on these reports.

Shauna's character is vulgar but lovable, unlike many female roles in Entourage often criticized for lacking depth. Debi Mazar felt the show's set was testosterone-driven and misogynistic, despite her enjoyment of her character's complexity. Unpleasant stories about women on the Entourage set highlight the need for more respectful workplace environments in entertainment.
Shauna Roberts in Entourage is Vince's publicist and a popular character, but the actor who plays her was not a fan of Shauna, nor her time on set. Entourage is one of the most popular TV shows HBO has ever produced. The series is famous, or infamous, for its unrestrained depiction of Hollywood. Wealth, sex, celebrity, and maybe friendship, are the only things that matter in Vincent Chase's world. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Entourage has never claimed it's telling a story as grand as Game of Thrones or as thematic as Sopranos.

Few franchises are as controversial as the feel-good Christmas family comedy "Home Alone." The first two films are widely beloved, bonafide staples of the American Christmas movie canon. However, the subsequent sequels — of which there are many — are almost universally despised. Most people haven't seen all of the "Home Alone" movies, and they might be left wondering — are any of the follow-up films worth watching?
Some feel that Macaulay Culkin leaving the franchise after the second film is what set the subsequent movies up for failure. In this critic's opinion, the "Home Alone" entries 3-6 suffer from a lot more than bad casting. However, I watched every "Home Alone" movie so you didn't have to, and I am here to answer some age-old questions. Firstly, is "Home Alone 2" better than the original? And secondly, are any of the follow-up films worth watching? My answer might surprise you.
You might disagree,...

Grey's Anatomy is known for its emphasis on connection and family, and there are other shows like The Night Shift and New Amsterdam that capture this essence. Shows like Younger and The Resident offer a fresh take on the hospital drama genre, focusing on romance, comedy, and the politics of the medical field. If you're looking for shows with strong female leads and complex stories like Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder and Private Practice are top picks from Shondaland.
Shonda Rhimes' Grey's Anatomy is currently 19 seasons of peak hospital drama, and while that seems like a never ending supply of television, there are other shows to watch for when it inevitably runs out. Without anything to replace it, the classic show hole is created; while it's so easy to fall into that hole after growing attached characters over such a long period of time, it's a lot harder getting out.

Fair Play is a 2023 thriller film written and directed by Chloe Domont. The film stars Phoebe Dynevor, Alden Ehrenreich, Eddie Marsan, and Rich Sommer.
“Fair Play” is a movie about ambition and how a professional relationship can affect a romantic relationship. In every place, there is an expression for this that ultimately recommends the same thing: not mixing love and work.
It’s difficult not to do so when, as in this case, both protagonists work ten hours a day and have no time for anything else but the company.
Plot
Emily and Luke are engaged, attractive, and have a promising future. There’s only one problem: they work at the same company, and company protocol doesn’t accept it. The problem arises when she gets promoted and he slowly starts losing his position in the complex corporate organization.

It would be easy to simply peg The Mattachine Family as an LGBTQ film. It is that, but so much more, too. Relationships, friendships, and a longing for family command the spotlight in director Andy Vallentine’s heartwarming feature, which he cowrote with his screenwriter Danny Vallentine. Tapping into those universal themes elevates this emotionally rich tale, one that will not only make audiences laugh and cry on different occasions, but also inspire them to reflect on the bounty of good that exists in their lives, especially during life transitions.
The Mattachine Family is currently on the festival circuit, most recently premiering at Chicago’s LGBTQ Reeling Film Festival. The movie stars Nico Tortorella, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek), Cloie Wyatt Taylor, Heather Matarazzo, Carl Clemons-Hopkins (Hacks), Jake Choi (Single Parents), and Colleen Foy (Quantum Leap).

Hargitay and Hermann met on the set of "Svu" in 2001, when the "Younger" actor guest starred as defense attorney Trevor Langan. “Let’s Make a Deal” host Wayne Brady came out earlier this week as pansexual.
The 51-year-old, who is also known for “Whose Line Is It Anyway” and “The Masked Singer” (which he won in Season 2), made the announcement on Monday via People Magazine.
“I am pansexual,” Brady declared, adding, “Bisexual — with an open mind!”
According to GLAAD, pansexuality falls under the bisexuality umbrella. The LGBTQ+ advocacy organization defines pansexual as “an adjective used to describe a person who has the capacity to form enduring physical, romantic, and/ or emotional attractions to any person, regardless of gender identity.”
A pansexual individual’s sexuality may evolve over time. Brady was formerly married to Mandie Taketa, and the two share a daughter, Maile. He said to People he has been attracted to men in the past, but has never dated one.
Pansexual individuals are sometimes non-binary, but the two are not mutually exclusive.

Nico Tortorella is a recognizable actor in the film and TV industry, and there is a strong chance audiences have caught one of their performances. Outside of acting, Tortorella is known for being vocal about LGBTQ+ rights and gender expression. In 2018, Tortorella came out as gender-fluid while getting a makeover from quotable RuPaul's Drag Race star Trinity “the Tuck” Taylor (via Gay Times). Over the years, the actor has also spoken about exploring polyamorous relationships with their partner, Bethany Meyers, and the judgment they've faced because of it (via People).
Tortorella being so candid about their sexuality, gender identity, and relationships makes them a notable figure of the LGBTQ+ community. The actor also works to challenge misconceptions about polyamorous relationships and marriages. In March 2023, Tortorella and Meyers announced that their first child was born. Even if viewers do not recognize Tortorella from their activism, the actor has played multiple popular...

The millennial women-led series is dead. Long live the millennials.
It wasn’t exactly surprising when Freeform’s beloved critically acclaimed “Single Drunk Female” was canceled this month after just two seasons and immediately pulled from Hulu. Sure, Freeform touted the sitcom as the highest-rated original comedy during the New York City Season 2 premiere before the series returned with all new episodes on Hulu in April. But its cancellation is just one of the many reminders that networks don’t invest long-term in women-fronted shows that focus on “messy” millennial women.
While we pour one out for “Single Drunk Female,” it’s best to trace the series back to its roots with Lena Dunham and executive producer Jenni Konner’s explosively disruptive HBO series “Girls,” which celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2022. After that massive hit, why has TV abandoned the generation of people who grew up watching “Girls”?

Younger star Nico Tortorella provides a hopeful update about the possibility of a revival. Ending its run after seven seasons, which stretched from 2015 to 2021, Younger was a romantic dramedy that followed the life of Liza Miller (Sutton Foster). Based on the book of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran and created by hit producer Darren Star (who also created shows such as Melrose Place and Sex and the City), the series begins with Liza devising a plan to pass herself off as two decades younger to avoid ageism in the publishing industry.
Speaking with People, Tortorella gave an optimistic update about the chances of a Younger revival. The actor, who played Josh in the dramedy, strikes a hopeful tone about the prospect and shares fond memories of their complete run on Younger. Tortorella also talks about how there's "more to the story" and even floats the possibility of a follow-up film.

“Emily in Paris” star Lily Collins and the show’s costume designer, Marylin Fitoussi, were both on hand Tuesday night at the series’ For Your Consideration event held in Los Angeles at the DGA theater. But there was a very notable absence: Series creator and executive producer Darren Star.
Star was scheduled to appear alongside Collins and Fitoussi as Netflix ramps up promotion going into the Emmys season, but the “Sex and the City” creator was a no-show. The panel didn’t explain his absence or even remark on it, but it comes amid the Writers’ Guild of America strike that began at midnight on Tuesday. Star is, of course, a longstanding member of the guild.
Along with “Emily in Paris” and “Sex and the City,” Star also created “And Just Like That,” “Melrose Place,” “Younger” and “Uncoupled,” among his many credits.
Representatives for Star didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

“Younger” star Miriam Shor has been cast in Bradley Cooper’s Leonard Bernstein biopic, “Maestro.”
Shor exclusively tells Variety that she is playing actor and model Cynthia O’Neal, a friend of the legendary musician and his wife Felicia Montealegre.
Cooper directed the Netflix film, co-wrote it with Josh Singer and stars as Bernstein. Carey Mulligan portrays Montealegre.
“I play Cynthia O’Neal, who was a very good friend of the Bernsteins, particularly his wife, Felicia,” Shor said Thursday night at the Los Angeles premiere of her and Cooper’s latest film, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” “I mean, that was unbelievable. Because an actor who also directs, to get to work with Bradley… he’s a savant. It’s miraculous. So that was really special, I was really grateful.”

Rachael Leigh Cook has done all that: She’s been a teen breakout star in an iconic high school comedy (“She’s All That”), transitioned to cringe sponsored movies (“Spirit Halloween”), and made the leap to Hallmark Christmas queen (“Tis the Season to Be Merry”). Now, she’s deftly parlayed her everywoman likability into the sweet made-for-Netflix movie “A Tourist’s Guide for Love.”
Yes, “made-for-Netflix” is a category all on its own. While “The Irishman” is considered to be a Netflix Original, “made-for-Netflix” separates the mass-produced movies like the nearly-perfect “Falling for Christmas” and calming background noise of “Murder Mystery 2” from the real Oscar contenders. It’s a sliding scale of quality under the streaming titan’s content umbrella, and Cook’s latest film, “A Tourist’s Guide to Love,” feels like an adaptation of a sweet viral BookTok romance novel — in the best way possible.

Warning! Contains spoilers for How I Met Your Father season 1!The long-anticipated Himym spinoff is in the midst of season 2, and the How I Met Your Father cast has some big shoes to fill as they expand the How I Met Your Mother franchise. How I Met Your Father is framed through the older version of Sophie telling her child the story of how she met their father. The storytelling is split between the narrative framing in 2050 and the present day, just like Himym. How I Met Your Father has already stated that the father appears in the first episode, making the early How I Met Your Father cast crucial to the show’s longevity.
When How I Met Your Mother first aired, the cast consisted of a mix of well-known and almost unknown names. While Alyson Hannigan was known from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Neil Patrick Harris was known from Doogie Howser,...

Peacock's revival of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" reunites us with some of our favorite characters, in new form. Newcomer Jabari Banks steps into Will Smith's shoes as Will, while Adrian Holmes plays Banks family patriarch Philip Banks. Vivian (Cassandra Freeman), Carlton (Olly Sholotan), Hilary (Coco Jones), and Ashley Banks's (Akira Akbar) roles have also been recast, while April Parker Jones plays Will's mother. And during the show's season one finale, we finally reunited with Will's father, Lou.

Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore were two of the hottest teen pop stars in the early 2000s. They also grew up to enjoy successful careers as adults.
Moore recently starred as the mom of “The Big Three” in the popular NBC drama This Is Us. Her six seasons as Rebecca Pearson earned her multiple awards, critical praise, and millions of fans who adored Jack and Rebecca’s love story.
After taking some time off, Duff returned to acting as Kelsey Peters in the hit TV Land sitcom Younger from 2015 to 2021. She now stars as Sophie in the Hulu series How I Met Your Father.
Both actors are now mothers and great friends.

Despite recently reopening the door for a “Lizzie McGuire” Disney+ reboot, Hilary Duff said she has not heard from Disney about any plans for a revival since.
When asked if she had heard from Disney since sharing that she is “optimistic” about a potential reboot, Duff responded, “No, I haven’t.” “Phone hasn’t rang,” Duff told TheWrap during a press day for Hulu’s “How I Met Your Father.”
Last month, Duff opened up about her hopefulness for a “Lizzie McGuire” revival, which was scrapped at Disney+ in 2020, during a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” in which host Andy Cohen asked Duff if she would still consider doing the reboot if “it lived up to her vision.”
The “Younger” star responded enthusiastically, “of course!”

Exclusive: Uncoupled, has been saved. I hear Showtime is picking up Season 2 (and potentially beyond) of the comedy series, from Emily in Paris creator Darren Star and Modern Family veteran Jeffrey Richman, a couple weeks after the MTV Entertainment Studios-produced show was canceled by Netflix. At the premium network, soon to be renamed Paramount+ with Showtime, Uncoupled is designed to fit into one the three main content lanes recently outlined by new Showtime boss Chris McCarthy, “Metro Cultures”, which spans “culturally diverse takes” like The L Word and The Chi.
As Deadline reported at the time of the cancellation, speculation that the series starring Neil Patrick Harris would not be continuing at Netflix started in late 2022 when sources indicated that there was an effort by Uncoupled producer MTV Entertainment Studios to find a new home for the series at Paramount Global sibling Showtime. At the time, those conversations did not result in a pickup,...

Kate Winslet’s HBO Limited Series ‘The Palace’ Casts Martha Plimpton, Adds Jessica Hobbs as Director
The HBO limited series “The Palace” starring Kate Winslet has added Martha Plimpton to its cast. In addition, Jessica Hobbs has boarded the series as a co-executive producer and director.
Along with Winslet and Plimpton, the cast for the show also includes Hugh Grant, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Andrea Riseborough. Exact character details are being kept under wraps, but according to the official logline for “The Palace,” the show “tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of an authoritarian regime as it begins to unravel.” It was originally ordered at HBO in July 2022.

‘Need Ser Criston Cole’s skincare routine’: House of the Dragon fans joke about character not ageing
House of the Dragon fans have been joking about Ser Criston Cole not ageing during the series despite multiple time jumps.
Cole has been played by the same actor, Fabien Frankel, throughout the Game of Thrones prequel despite other roles being re-cast by older actors due to two time jumps adding up to around 16 years.
Leading character Rhaenyra Targaryen has been played by both Milly Alcock and Emma D’Arcy throughout the hit HBO show, and series villain Alicent Hightower has been played by both Emily Carey and Olivia Cooke.
In episode eight, which aired on 9 October, a time jump of six years saw both Rhaenyra and Alicent’s children, such as Aemond Targaryen and Jacaerys Velaryon, grow up and be recast by older actors.
Despite this, Frankel is still playing Cole, with fans cracking jokes about this situation online.
“Sorry but is Ser Criston Cole Ever going to age,” wrote one viewer,...

Sacrebleu, “Emily in Paris” is back!
The Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated Netflix series, created by “Sex and the City” and “Younger” mega-producer Darren Star, has unveiled a sneak peek at its third season. Lily Collins reprises her role as the social media marketing maven torn between two men and two continents.
Faced with two very different paths, Emily will have to decide exactly where her loyalties lie — at work and in her romantic life, per the official synopsis from Netflix. Season 3 does not yet have a release date but is expected to debut in early 2023.
Season 2 left off with Emily (Collins) professing her love for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), only to watch him get back together with his ex (and Emily’s friend) Camille, played by Camille Razat. Emily contemplates leaving France altogether to return to her job in Chicago instead of following Savoir boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) to her new company,...
