I dont unstand the entity of such of being who would engage in this sort of endevour. Why would anyone even do a film on this, some people, good job you are away from me, the pain.

This movie had good intentions. But it all fails with the bad and sometimes lazy animation, the sometimes horrible acting, the not all of the times cringey dialogue and TRAINING MONATGES IN A DOG FIGHTING MOVIE!

If you want to watch something like Chance, idk.

I'm so disappointed, they could of gone a bunch of different ways with this storyline, I guess if you want cold hearted, true life, brutal & depressing then this movie is for you.

The story overrides the obvious aspects of the indie graphics of the film. Chance has a one of a kind following worldwide, mostly on his facebook community. The film represents acts of faith, and once most viewers cut it on and don't turn it off. The story is compelling and never has been done before. There is one review that disputed all accurate reviews of the film, which are people who watched the film versus just focused on the animation. So for users who can't believe why the film got so many reviews. It's because it a one of a kind strong story that leaves you in deep thought after. It also raises much awareness. One can discount the animation of the film, but the story overrides it by far.

Its clear the budget for this movie was not very high but they did a good job with what they had. I really don't think this a movie for children but it was entertaining to watch as an adult.

This movie deals with mature themes and does feature death, the amount of gore shown is limited however. There is barely any blood shown and its not difficult to watch as a result. There is religious subtext but its not the focus of the movie.

The voice acting is good. The 3D models for the dogs are good too. The backdrops are not detailed enough at the ground level, which is a problem considering most shots are at the eye level of the dogs.

Most of the camera shots are good. Some scenes stay too long. Some transitions do not flow well. However I can tell there was a lot of love and effort put into this movie.

To recap, I think overall it was worth a watch. I'm giving it a 7 because its a good movie but it does have flaws.

At first glance you would be taken aback by the graphics, but the story itself is amazing. The voice acting is on point and the heart is in the story. It does get slow at times, but it has charm. It sticks to the point of the movie. Awareness of dog fighting and the cruel ways of humans towards animals. It is full of passion and story.

The only set back again is the graphics. The animations themselves have rough points. Run cycles, walk cycles and some lip synch are off or just look odd. However the close ups of the animals are on point and show a lot of the emotion of the animals

Cute story and great characterizations, but the quality of the animation leaves a little to be desired! Not smooth enough, jerky at times. I was hoping for something more like Pixar quality, but alas, it falls short. At least in the closeups, the detail is good enough to show some emotion! I think the producers had a very low budget and they did the best they could...not everyone can have a megs million dollar budget like PIXAR.

This movie is a must see. So well-made, and true to life. It brings out the evil, and violence of dog fighting. Animals are abused every day. We must end dogfighting now!!!

I saw the movie twice. The movie gets you emotionally involved with the characters as you share in Chance journey. This is a great movie with many life lessons. A must see. You can thank me later!

That movie is so sad 😞 Before the human's idiocy gets in the way like the guy who commented this article first, they were actually nannies. We used them to protect our families and children. They are way more intelligent, loyal and fun then many humans. Dog fights are made for the kind of people that can't fight for themselves so they use them as there ego evolves with the brutality of their fights. Never trust a human, but u can always trust a dog who hasn't been abused by the bipedal animal.

It was beautifully written! Not many like it to shed light on the topic. I totally recommend this movie!!.

Chance is a great story! The writer did a phenomenal job exposing the cruel world of dog fighting from a dog's point of view. The story line engages viewers to develop a love for pit bulls and to be conscious of animal cruelty. All in all, the pit bull breed are what you make them to be. Yes, they are known for their sheer strength but they are rarely known for their loving, kind and protective mentality. This movie allowed us to see that side. Job well done!!

Very good movie. Well written and directed. Enjoyed the snarky jokes amongst the dogs.

Along with teaching what not to do with dogs, it was also a love story and a story about friendship. Truly uplifting movie.

CHANCE is a SELF FUNDED film that was created, produced and directed from the heart. CHANCE was written in honor of an actual encounter with a sweet, loving, playful PitBull Terrier. These two facts are enough to give a round of applause !!! CHANCE is more than a dog movie, CHANCE exhibits values, morals, integrity, honor, while enduring betrayal, isolation, neglect. CHANCE overcomes adversity staying true to his character, showing us mental strength and courage can bring you out of the darkest pits. The most beautiful story I've ever watched unfold on a screen, we can learn a lot from CHANCE and some of our own lives can be seen throughout the film. Dream and Believe.

Chance is a powerfully written film with great performances and just an overall tremendous message in the film. This movie is so good. Must watch!

A story that's family-oriented and relevant to our times. Chance gives that universal struggle for life and freedom. Very well written and emotionally charged. This is definitely worth a sequel!

This was one of the most touching yet relevant movies I have seen. Usually when you watch a movie centered around animals there is a certain lightheartedness and silliness that envelops the movie. This wasn't that movie. In fact it was less about the cruelty that happens to animals and more about the cruelty that happens to humans from other humans. You have to get past the animation and the budget and listen to the words and feelings of the main character. This movie was a reflection of a culture that has been ripped from its natural surroundings and forced into submission through violence and mental domination. It was a very telling piece in that it made a statement on the history of Africans and African American history. Seeing the harrowing journey that Chance took was so symbolic of so many of the trials of African Americans. It spoke to your heart and this story needs to be shared with others that don't understand the black experience. Looking forward to seeing you what happens in the next chapter.

This is a movie that my family enjoyed watching. The style, the musical score, the characters, the story, the effects, the destinations, the brightness of everything, everything about this movie I love so much. Out of all the characters in this movie my top favorite character is Hannibal. I just adore his style, attitude, care, commitment to friends and his inability to give up on anything important. A great movie for family night.

This movie draws you in from the beginning - educational storyline, phenomenal animation, and is very well written. Walking side by side with Chance as he journey through life lessons - friendship, love, disappointed, and resilience - brings his character to life. Animal lover or not, you will find this movie captivating!!!

I have seen this movie 3 times and each time I cried. If you love animals it's hard to watch at times, because of the cruelty that is imposed on the dogs. But it's attention that needs to be brought to light. You get so invested in the characters of each dog, you feel as if they are your own and want to protect them. It's also a story of love, friendship and to always hold on to your dream.

This was a sanitized look at the world of dogfighting because it was animated but does a good job of touching on the basics without being gory. Recommend this highly but not for kids younger than 10 or so. Had me sobbing by the end.

For those who love dogs, this story will definitely tug on your heartstrings!!!
