Storyline

On the last day of school, right on Senior Prank Day in Roosevelt High, things don't look good for meek English teacher Andy Campbell, who feels exceptionally expendable facing a bleak future in front of severe job cuts, just before the year's new school season. But soon, things will go from bad to worse when feeble Campbell will infuriate the scary hot-headed history teacher Ron Strickland, who in turn, he will challenge him in an old-school, no-holds-barred, mano-a-mano throwdown in front of everybody, in the parking lot after school. Inevitably, now that the fight is on, no excuses, no regrets, and certainly no talking sense into Strickland, is going to save Campbell who needs to face the consequences of his actions and pay the heavy price. After all, snitches get stitches. Written by Nick Riganas

Trivia

In the model UN room scene, Holly asks Strickland and Campbell to sit at friendly countries to try to moderate a truce between the two. Strickland swaps his "country" from the hostile-to-Israel Iran to the hostile-to-the-world North Korea. Campbell refuses to swap his country from Israel. He could've swapped to a country in the seat right next to him - China. China has supported North Korea since the Korean War, they are North Korea's most important trade partner, and they share a 1400 kilometer border. See more »

Goofs

After revealing the "drawing" on the left side of the chalkboard, the board then shows writing in purple, then back to the drawing later in the day. If it was cleared to write notes, Campbell wouldn't have put the "drawing" back up later. See more »

The Movie You Watch if You Just Want to Laugh
7 May 2018 | by leddyfzmSee all my reviews

This is the kind of movie you watch if you just want to laugh. It's the movie you see when you have a bunch of friends over on a Friday night and you want to unwind.

Will it win an Oscar? Not a chance, but it isn't horrible. The plot is pretty transparent and some of the acting is meh, but it's watchable.

This just isn't the kind of movie that a critic even has to review, in my opinion. It'll never win over a critic who takes themselves too seriously.

I agree with another reviewer that said this movie tries a little too hard to be funny, but you end up having a really great time watching it. It does have hilarious moments that make it worth watching.
