Watching this was like rewatching all the news clips and particulars involved The Gabby Petito Story. Yes the show takes the story from real life happenings. I don't look at the television ratings to see if this series still rates well. It has become stale. Yeah it's great to be the longest running series on television, but I would rather have better quality content. After seeing Ice Ts video cussing out the police in his real life, it steals away from the "bad attitude good cop"he plays.

Law and Order SVU has had many well played, emotive episodes. I felt emotional hearing the news about Gabby Petito, however watching this episode and seeing the similarities to her story, did not bring up the emotions I would have expected to feel. The storylines on the Wolf Productions shows seem to use the same story with different names and cities. Writing needs to improve if they want these shows to go on.
