Party Monster
5 January 2017 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Busking while looking like a loser is not doing Andy too much good. Well a cafe owner pays him £20 to move on. He visits his ex Gwen to deliver a present but she has moved on to a new boyfriend, Casper. He likens Andy to a fungus and also tells him to move on.

While babysitting Errol acting poorly so he does not have to go to a class mate's birthday party, Andy persuades him to go as parties develop social skills.

Trouble is Alfie whose birthday it is does not want Errol there and he is a bully while his dad is obnoxious giving everyone stupid nicknames. While Alfie shames Errol, his dad picks on Andy but he finds a way to get his own back and scratches his Bentley on the way out.

Again we see Andy himself being vain and boastful, making out to a school friend his music career is more successful than it really is. Very adept at lying is Andy. We find a little more about Errol's mum, she was an addict and at least the escapades at the party bring uncle and nephew closer as both take a stand against bullies in a way.
