My wife and I love Jim's stand up, long time fans, literally our favorite comedian. However, his show is not funny at all. It's just his jokes from his stand up rehashed which are meant to be zingers, but he builds up to them during the whole episode and then they fall flat. All of the interactions are just awkward, I even looks away from the screen instinctively during one of Jim's arguments with his wife who is played by Ashley Williams, unfortunately for her. The style of show doesn't make any sense, it's like a fake, reenacted documentary, which I guess is what it is.
Jim we love you, please just focus on your stand up.
