Bad Trip
Ignoring one of mom's earliest warnings, a man shaving is seduced by the lush foam and decides to imbibe with horrific results. One horrific image follows the next until frantic with fear he smashes the mirror to save himself, but has he? It's not the only mirror on earth.
Helped along by the genial nature of a Michael Palin lookalike, La Barber smooth mirror transition must have made the audience leap, the subsequent slight of hands, chuckle. In its brief running time one cannot fault the filmmaker for wasted possibilities in extending the shaver's trip with more diverse hallucinations and in spite of it he does get his message across that allows this silly brevity a parental teaching moment.
