Compelled by the precarious conditions of their families, Gabriel and Esther attend elementary school in a boarding school for children of low-income families. Away from their parents and siblings, between games, lessons, dreams and fights, both kids must learn that this is the best option they will have to shape a future. Nonetheless, going hand in hand to school with their parents or grandparents each Monday and waiting until Friday to go back home with them, will test their strenght and capabilities to successfully overcome this ordeal that makes them adults when they are still children.
