Ret og Pligt - del 1 

Wagner is a complex character. He is a silent man who seldom shares his feelings. He falls big time for a woman, Grace, whom he has investigated. She has been in the middle of some diamond smuggling. Because some bad guys have located her at his home, he moves her to the apartment of a friend. While there, she is killed, and now Wagner must face the music. All evidence is stacked against him, including his gun being used in the murder. He call Dicte in to help him because he really has no friends. He makes it seem like his relationship was short lived, but we know that it had been a couple months. He lies to his partner and to Dicte about details. He also begins to investigate while he is suspended, finding that there is more to the story than he realized and the identities have been tampered with. Grace also left a cloth bag full of blood diamonds under the seat of Wagner's car. Another subplot is the continuing estrangement of Rose from her mother.
