Everybody's on the run

Warning: Spoilers
One of the best episodes of 'Justified' to date. Let's start with the chills that were sent down my spine as a clean-shaven Art walked into the office strapped with his holster and gun, as though joining his comrades in the final stretch of battle. How awesome was that? The Wynn-Mikey storyline delivered some of the funniest and most heart-breaking moments of the show. Mikey, or should I say 'Mike', was always just this lovable meathead overshadowed by the always-entertaining Wynn. This time, he really shone and showed his refined taste for classical music as well as his relentless instinct to protect Wynn at all costs. He was a true fighter and man did he take some hits. It seemed all he ever wanted was Wynn's affection and seeing him asked to be held as he died by his side choked me up. On the flip side, their bickering like a married couple was priceless. Let's not forget the stand-off at the portal between Raylan and Markham had so much finesse and class, worthy of the level of criminal Markham is. It was this tense exchange of words and wits played out in true Wild West fashion. Loved it. I'm eagerly anticipating a Raylan-Boon showdown, Boon being a clearly dangerous yet intriguing character who's yet to really be let off the leash. We've seen him bark but here's waiting for the bite. Finally, seeing the ever obscure Grubes rotting on the floor of his cabin was chilling. From earlier on in the season, this man was just a name, an illusion signifying a hope of escape for Walker (supposedly) and now Ava. His corpse, lying there for what appear to have been months on end was just a blunt reminder in case they'd forgotten: There is no escape. In fact, there never really was.

The story has evolved into this beautifully twisted mess of betrayals and side-swapping in a brutal cage of clawing predators that you could only think up in the animal kingdom; everyone's scrambling to be the last standing. This final season delivers such complexity in a way I never could've imagined. Can't wait for the final episodes - God, I'm gonna miss this show.

"I'll be the one coming after you"

Warning: Spoilers
What an unpredictable show this is, what started off with a very slow burn and with a lot of difference purposes ends up being one hell of a different ride compared to the beginning of the season, that's what I love the most about Justified, the plot changes, people start turning on each other, the premise from the start of the season is almost the opposite to what we have in the end, but the difference from Justified to other shows is that it always turns out to be better than we expected.

The money vault, the CI program, the weed and the property buying, the supposed to be the dangerous but goofy war-veterans (I take Walker out of the equation, that's a man with some damn bad luck).

Just as Alive Day, Dark as a Dungeon and Trust brought a lot of twists, Fugitive Number One is the first of a trinity of episodes that concludes the different and surprising road Justified has taken, I can't explain why I like this show so much, is not the action that brought me in, the characters and the way things turn out to be is what kept me waiting for this final season and thankful for having the will to start watching it last year.

Now, about the episode, the twists involving Carl and Boyd, The Douche-Mobile scene (probably one of the most beautiful, funny and sad scenes I've ever seen on television), the shocking moment with Ava and Uncle Zach finding Grubes in the cabin, and the Marshals going after Raylan in a similar fashion where Vic Mackey was on his on against the Farmington P.D on The Shield, that final scene with the conversation between Art and Raylan on the phone just brought a whole different taste to the show with only two episodes to go.

Dammit, I'm gonna miss this when it's over.

MVP's:

Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns).

Mike Cosmatopolis (Jonathan Kowalsky).

Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen).

Best Episode of This Show So Far.
alr-830526 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
For the last couple episodes of this show, I have kept thinking, "This is definitely the best episode of the show so far. Then the next episode is even better. I was only halfway through the episode when it made me realize that Season 6 is much better than Season 2, and Season 2 is really great. This episode has many unforeseen twists, and executes all of them in a great manner. This episode uses music in strange places, which make the scene stranger and more humorous such as the classical music in Wynn's RV. The symbolism with Boyd and Raylan at the end of the episode with Boyd being dressed as a cop and Raylan taking a leave from the Marshals and potentially becoming a fugitive, for not going to the office when he is suspected of being in league with Ava, is amazing. This episode has got me very excited for the remaining 2 episodes, and it seems like the ball can only go higher.

Harlan in chaos

Warning: Spoilers
Nothing like a regional manhunt to really rev the engines.

There's no stopping now; it's damn-the-torpedoes for "Justified" from here on out. Ava's on the run, Boyd's in the hospital and Wynn Duffy's in cuffs waiting for a vengeful Mary Steenburgen. This has one of the series' most brutal (and tragic) scenes in that RV (between Wynn, Mikey, and Katherine) and it just fits in with the episode's overall reckless vibe; as does Boyd's insane hospital escape. The only way to top this is to have Raylan on the hook for $10 million. Which he is.

Things have darkened considerably for all involved.

This ones for Carl

Warning: Spoilers
This is for Carl. Boyd just up and killing him does not make sense for Boyd's character.
