- An explosion destroys a building and everyone inside and immediately outside. Several bodies are shown being tossed and torn apart by the explosion. A man is visibly torn to shreds. People trapped in the building are shown engulfed by the explosion's fire. A piece of the building flies into the city streets and lands on a man, crushing him, with blood briefly shown.
- A boy jumps out of a high window and commits suicide. Impact is not shown.
- When a man is served pie, he eats one bite, then lifts the crust to find the tip of a finger, showing that the pie is made from humans. He retches briefly.
- A man has his throat cut, with blood spray.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A man is served a pie. After taking a bite it is revealed that the pie was made out of his children. This is deeply disturbing

The explosion sequence is extended for over a full minute, showing every aspect of its destruction. Watching the explosion happen as the people try to escape may be difficult to watch.
- A woman is tied to a table while another woman tortures her by pouring wine on her face as she struggles to breathe. The woman leaves, and a man enters and continues the torture, though we do not see exactly what happens and only hear screaming. The imagination of the possibilities can become disturbing.
