The reference to
Jerrid Foiles stems from when he and
Isaac M. Baranoff were both members of the website Space Monkey Mafia Studios, which Baranoff later resigned from. Foiles complained that he was reviewing "too many sex comics" on the basis of Comix Scrutinizer's "Up from the Deep" review, which was not in fact a sex comic, but a horror comic with some sex in it. Foiles' complaint led to a long-unbroken tradition that Baranoff would space out episodes reviewing pornographic comics to avoid scheduling two sex comics within the same two weeks. Being that "Squeak the Mouse" features a hardcore pornographic sequence (and the previous episode reviewed a pornographic comic), Baranoff wrote this line in to avoid delaying this review further, as it was long requested by fans of this series. The reference to Foiles as a castmember of
The Cinema Snob (2007) was tongue-in-cheek, as Foiles had been fired from
Brad Jones' website.
