Storyline

Errol persuades a cash-strapped Andy to leave his sick bed and enter a song contest with a big money prize. Andy wants it to be a solo effort but Val, Gwen and her new boyfriend Casper are keen to join in though Gwen and Casper have rowed and Andy must reconcile them, as well as giving Sam sex advice. Errol also wants to be involved and takes drastic action when this is denied him. Fortunately there is enough studio time left to make a group recording complete with an impressive video. Andy: Errol... we're not talking about anything.
Errol: I hate it when you do that. I'm nearly fourteen now, I can take it. I'm ready.
Andy: A strap-on is a dildo that women will strap on like a belt in order to have sex with other women, and sometimes men.
Errol: I wasn't ready.

Episode 2.3

Andy as always is short of money and also in bed with man flu. However Errol sees a chance of winning a prize by entering a song contest and persuades Andy to take part. Andy takes some medication and off they go to the recording studio which they have hired for a few hours.

However Errol seems to have written most of the song and Andy does not want Errol involved in the recording. The young producer, Hugo things the song can massively improved and makes suggestions such as a bass line from a previous recording session.

It turns out the bass line is by Casper, Gwen's new boyfriend and Andy has to persuade him to play bass. Before long Gwen is providing vocals and her dad is playing drums. Errol takes drastic action to be involved in the music and time is running out to complete the song but not before Andy helps out Hugo with his bullying boss.

An enjoyable episode as Andy has to cajole people to take part and nice to see the song coming together. A good cameo from Jordan Stephens of Rizzle Kicks.
