Conner got raped!!
elizabethh-1347831 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was okay. My biggest problem I had with this movie was how Conner got Heather pregnant. The truth is Conner did not have consensual sex with her and therefore I feel that he got raped. The movie never addressed this. In the scene you see Conner push her away. If the roles were reversed I'm sure there would be no question about this.

He was raped!

Why is no one taking up for this kid who was obviously raped! If the genders were reversed the boy would have been in jail so fast!

Other than that the movie wasn't completely terrible.

Good made for TV movie, easy to watch with interesting plot
kysta12 September 2020
Go into this expecting what it is and you might be pleasantly surprised. Good psycho girl thriller/drama. Without ruining the end, i understand why they finished it that way but i would have preferred something a bit different so giving a 7 for that reason. Solid made for TV movie that kept me engaged far more than many movies.

Idea was great super weird and some terrible acting

Awesome idea for a movie. Super unrealistic acting was awful but I couldn't stop watching. Main lead role lacked some serious realistic emotion but he was one of the better actors in the film. A must watch one time

actress on Double Daddy
deb_cob7 May 2016
The actress, and I use this term loosely, who plays Heather, Brittany Curran is the absolute WORSE actress I've ever seen! She is horrible and I hope I never see her in another movie. I like the plot of the movie and the other young actors/actresses but this girl sucks!!! She's ridiculous and has no clue how to act. She reminds me of another horrible actress I've seen in, probably, a Lifetime movie and her name is Yvonne Zima. These 2 should be in a movie together to compete to see who is the worst. I don't understand how girls like this can even make it in a movie, if they have to "audition", they must audition in front of blind and deaf people because anybody else would NOT cast either of them.

I actually liked this movie
gcarrick22 June 2015
I didn't think I was going to like this movie but, I did. The one thing I did not like was the number of commercial breaks and the lengths of them. I really think Lifetime has gone too far with the amount of commercials they try to insert into each movie. They are almost unwatchable.

I used to keep my TV on Lifetime and LMN pretty much all the time. These days, not so much. It used to be LMN was all movies. They should change it to Lifetime Reality Crap. They have so many great movies archived away and they choose to show crap like Killer Kids, etc. I wish they would go back to the programming they had 10 - 15 years ago.

Anyways, I thought the acting was pretty good. It kept my interest.

Bad Acting!
pammyjean121 June 2022
If the acting was better it wouldn't have been that bad but I think the movie double mommy was way better! Heather was the absolute worst! I can't believe she even got on a movie.

Someone here suggested Heather was the real heroine. Sorry but I disagree. She portrayed a typical white trash girl. That's what they were called in my high school. She went after him because he was rich. She did rape him. A lot of people will say she couldn't have, but drunk guys don't automatically suffer ed. He didn't ask for it. Her exboyfriend talked herprevkous schemes talked about her privious scams. Everytime sbe whined something she produced a gotcha grin. She didn't derve anthying. Use medicare. Clothes? Ã’pTry goodwill. My hs was a lot like this. White trash were avoided like plague. A few poor people were part of the in crowd because they were im the same, classes , jocks, snd regular student body.p

In my day, abortion was the biggest fix. Some used adoption. Some raised themoption

A Question of Morality **1/2
edwagreen12 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
My rating for this film, not a bad one as films go, was lowered due to the morality question. I objected to all parents concerned accepting the situation as is, a shower party thrown by friends in honor of the nice girl, and the fight in the hallway viewed by all students and staff with little to nothing done. Years ago, pregnant teens went to special schools when their conditions became shall we say noticeable.

As far as the film itself, the acting was good and with the particular Lifetime flair, our evil girl, by film's end, is up to her old tricks, so we don't know what is really going to happen.

The guy who got the 2 girls into trouble is depicted as clean cut, from an affluent family, and with college intentions.

These type of films should not be made to the message here. Let's continue with the themes of sanctity of marriage and protecting yourself.

Bad casting
highflight-6706013 August 2022
Do the people who cast the actors have any clue on today's teens, particularly how they dress and wear their hair? It's like they can't see what's around them. At least do some darn research.

In this movie the dudes are nearly all sporting pompadour haircuts from the 1950's. The main male character is the worst.

Not one single guy at my high school wears their hair all piled up like that...and with sideburns no less. Like I said, straight out of the 1950's ..minus the grease. It's either that or their hair is shaggy with no style and no lineups.

If you want to make a movie credible, at least have the actors look like they're from this decade .

It's a Boy!!! It's a Girl!!! It's One of Each!!!
lavatch29 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
"Double Daddy" is a film that is not short on fireworks. In almost every new scene there is something more outlandish in the conduct of Miss Heather Henderson, who has manipulated her way into making Conner Walker the double daddy of the film's title.

The prolific Conner has managed to impregnate both Heather and the young woman he truly loves, Amanda Cohen. But Heather is determined to drive a wedge into Conner's relationship with Amanda. She is especially skillful in her use of her cell phone in taking selfies to give the appearance she and Conner are a couple.

The most extraordinary scene is a mad dash through the woods with the very pregnant Heather wielding a knife while she is chasing the very pregnant Amanda. The two young women fall off a little cliff, plopping down into the leaves below. Amanda then assists Heather in the delivery of her baby!

While the film was apparently "inspired" by a true story, there was a sly tongue-in-cheek approach to the dramatic material. Some of the characterizations were over-the-top caricatures, such as Heather's repellent father or her equally disgusting former boyfriend Trent.

It was never really credible that the wealthy parents of Conner would actually move Heather into their home. And it was never made entirely clear whether or not Conner and Amanda would be raising two children during the twenty years that Heather would be wearing an orange jumpsuit.
