The Marge-ian Chronicles is a terrific Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and loads of funny scenes. It was quite risky to begin with as we see Lisa preparing to go to Mars, however, we never actually see her go, as this is about the relationship between her and Marge, and the concerns a mother has for her daughter with a decision like this, the writers captured that brilliantly. I did feel the episode was lacking interaction from other family members, though Bart and Homer are with them on this space travel preparation course, they are not given a whole lot to do, having Bart get up to his usual shenanigans, or Homer screwing everything up would have added for extra hilarity. However, it never forgets to be funny and was not afraid to take risks, I love the egg snatching at the beginning, the constant repeat of the same dialogue inspired by Homer and the corrupt space corporation obsessed with advertising, many parts had me in stitches. Heartwarming and hilarious at the same time, the Marge-ian Chronicles is a stellar Simpsons.
Lisa signs up for a trip to Mars, forcing Marge to deploy a devious strategy to keep her daughter on Earth.
