In this episode, the actual crimes and solving of said crimes, seems to take a back seat to the dumbest story line so far.
Olinsky is usually a very savvy dude, who rarely looses his head. But here, a complete stranger turns up, ok he had an affair with her mother 16 years ago, but without any proof whatsoever, he just accepts that he is the father of this random obnoxious teen.
He gives her money, asks no questions, whats up with that ?
As far as i know, a underage teen is not allowed to just be on their own, with no adult supervision.
Why doesn't he bring her to childrens services ? In this case it is irrelevant what she says or wants, she should have been placed in care. No exception.
He is way different with his daughter Lexi.
