The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • There are very easy-to-miss panty shots while Taki is in Mitsuha's body when biking up to a mountain to meet her in his body later in the movie, and when tripping while running back to town to make sure everyone is evacuated before the meteor hits. These shots are not meant to be sexual nor suggestive.

  • One protagonist learns that the other and her family were meant to die when a comet hits the city where she lives.
