Sex & Nudity

  • In the background of a scene, you see a couple of teens go into a room together, nothing shown. Sexual acts are implied and the girl is about 3 years older than the boy, who's merely 13. He was 13 and she was about 16.
  • A mother's sex life is discussed briefly as well, and there is a moderate sexual reference.Nothing strong
  • Some sex references but nothing strong.

  • A man walks out a bedroom in one scene, (no sex shown) sex is implied.

Violence & Gore

  • Several instances of fighting, involving punching and other struggles are shown. A scene of bullying by Stevie's older brother who beats him up. They get into a fight.
  • As usual, several skateboarders may take violent plunges when doing a stunt, including one who takes an intense, fall off a roof, he bumps his head and he starts bleeding a bit.
  • Characters are hurt and bullied in various ways, but the scenes are not graphic or disturbing. (both could be bullying or a skateboard/other accidents)

Profanity

  • 171 uses of "fuck". Plus pervasive uses of "dick" "pussy" "ass", "bitches", "shit", "damn", "hell", and many more. Several homophobic and gay/racial slurs are used in a racist manner towards others, but sometimes also used for fun.
  • The teens challenge others using frequent usage of profanity.
  • A main characters name is literally "Fuckshit" because of a catch phrase he uses. His name is said a total of 17 times in the film.
  • Multiple uses of "nigger"/"nigga".
  • Faggot is used.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several adults drink and smoke, some teens are seen drinking.
  • Nothing strong seen of drugs or alcohol
  • Some adults smoke cigarettes. Some teens do too.
  • A teen drives when intoxicated by alcohol.

  • A 13 year old appears to be intoxicated multiple times.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The bullying scenes may be a bit intense, stevie is yelled at and beat up in one scene
  • Some little disturbing scenes but not strongly disturbing.
  • Stevie getting yelled at and beaten up is intense.

  • The main character falls off a roof while skateboarding. Is beat up by his brother several times. Is involved in a serious car crash (he comes out with cuts, scrapes, and bruises).
