Before the final showdown Macavity states to Old Deuteronimy that there are "no cats left" which he concludes makes him the jellicle choice. This is incorrect, since Rum-Tum-Tugger, who also sang a song, is never actually stolen away by him and is seen throughout the movie and even the scene before dancing with everyone else. See more »

An "completely finished" version, which improves the VFX, replaces the "Early Preview" version with the use of the Digital Cinema Package (DCP) that with downloaded onto a satellite server after the opening weekend, as demanded by Universal Studios International (UIP). As I had liked the musical and love cats, I was interested in watching this version but I decided to read the critics before, as I always do. These are making me laugh so much, it has now become my guilty pleasure after a long day of work. Congratulations for having had the courage to watch this product and thank you for having taken the time to write your critics. Most of them are making me laugh so hard that I am crying, others are scaring me as to what it can possibly look like. I am usually curious but not on this occasion, for some reason....
