'The Living Dead Girl' - The American Version (2012)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
This seven minute featurette has Jean-Pierre Bouyxou discussing the American version of Jean Rollin's THE LIVING DEAD GIRL, which was filmed at the same time. Bouyxou talks about some of the distraction it caused on the set and he discusses how Rollin would shoot his version first and then Gregory Heller would come in and shoot his. This is a pretty fascinating featurette as Bouyxou does a very good job at explaining why this second version was made and how it was eventually used. He discusses the cast and which ones had issues with English dialogue including himself. If you're a fan of the Rollin gore feast then you'll want to check this out.
