Smallfoot

The names of the two lead yetis in the film, Migo and Meechee, are actually two different Tibetan words for "yeti" (yeti being more the Nepalese term).

In the human city featured in the film, the signs are in Chinese, and right-hand traffic is used, implying that the film takes place on the north side of the Himalayas in China. However, the city appears to have a population of at least ten thousand, and would therefore have to be on the south side of the Himalayas in Nepal/Pakistan/India/Bhutan, as all of the villages on the north side are much smaller. Also, the overwhelming majority of Himalayan tourism happens on the south side.

Warner Bros. Pictures logo, the snow starting, the shield turns ice and breaks into Warner Animation Group logo.

In the UK; the film was passed PG uncut for infrequent, mild bad language. The distributor then opted to make 1 seconds of cuts to remove a single use of the term 'crap' in order to lower the film to a U rating.
