This is the music video for the Kanye West song Famous from 2016 and as always with him, it is a bit different than everything/everybody else. This for once can be seen by trhis running for a really long 11 minutes almost, but I would have preferred one minute to be honest. There is no musiac at during large sequences of the film, which is actually fine because Kanye here comes as generic as it gets with nothing to offer except repetitive rambling once again how he made Taylor Swift famous. Oh well, and I am writing this as somebody who is not a Swift fan at all, at least not about what she's been doing in recent years adjusting to pointless pop music. But back to Kanye: I will not say too much about the contents of the video here. You see several celebrities lying on a gigantic bed naked and sleeping, well dummies/sculptures of them to be more precise. I wiill spare you the names, but let me tell you that each and every single one of them, no matter how unlikable they may seem, has come up with a whole lot more creativity and proof of talent than Kim Kardashian. So yeah, I don't know what's worse here watching the video or just listening to the song. At least with a video you have some kind of distractions during these lengthy moments of silence. But both is pretty garbage. Big thumbs-down for this project here and you don't see it too often that a music video with millions of views on Youtube (actually only over 35 which I thought would be more, but also says it all about the quality) has more thumbs-downs than thumbs-ups. Let me add another. What's going on Kanye? Back to talent please, you have it, the proof is there, even if it may be over 10 years old now. This one here gety a fully negative recommendation from me. Stay far far away.
