'Jacob' is worrying about his family and prays for them. 'Joseph' has one more task for' Mitri' which concerns the silver cup. The next morning, as the brothers leave, 'Mitri' stops them with guards and accuses them of stealing the silver cup. The bags of wheat are searched and the cup is found in 'Benjamin's' sack. He is taken prisoner so 'Judah' asks to speak with the Ruler. They come into the presence of the Ruler and 'Joseph' allows 'Reuben' to speak. But then 'Joseph' sobs and cries aloud and finally reveals his identity. The brothers are stunned at first and then believe he must be intending to take revenge.
