Great film. Emily Cox is outstanding

I watched this movie together with my significant other and we enjoyed every minute of it.

It's a clever romantic comedy, and the story being progressed by using dog ownership is brilliant in my opinion.

If you take this movie for what it is, it's a really fun, funny and refreshing film. I think the setting in Germany and using "European" style comedy elevates this this film above the romantic comedy genre we're used to in America, which in my opinion has been declining and even became irrelevant in recent years.

Emily Cox, by no surprise to anyone who knows her stellar performances in "The Last Kingdom", brings her art and shows her incredible range in this film. She is funny, clumsy and can be intense at times. I cannot say enough words about how brilliant Emily is in my opinion. I greatly look forward to seeing her in more such films in the future. The supporting cast is also spot on for all of the roles.

10/10!

A movie that touches the heart as a dog owner - for all those who are also d'accord with German productions for an amusing entertainment

This movie is just something for the heart and for dog owners / dog lovers. For this reason alone, it was a must-see for me. As a Katharina Thalbach fan, I was very happy to see her, even if it was only in a supporting role. Her Berliner Schnodder alone is a joy and she embodies her role wonderfully.

Seeing the dogs and their owners at the beginning, with a cheerful soundtrack ( Stand by me ), is beautiful and puts everyone in a good mood.

Even Guido Maria Kretschmer makes a brief appearance with his dogs.

The actors all fit their respective roles, are likeable and complement each other.

Also, praise to Maite Kelly, I don't know if it was her debut as an actress, but she fills her role so cutely well that it was delicious to watch her play, I really wouldn't have thought that.

All in all, this makes for a heartwarming movie about separation, bumpy new beginnings and the struggles of life, which are enriched by our four-legged friends for life, who also often build bridges (for us). It follows various fates that are shaped by their dogs. And a soundtrack that puts you in a good mood and that you would listen to on a warm summer's day in Caprio.

I even watched the movie twice, once with my mother and once with my husband, and the second time was also very entertaining. I think it's also difficult to find "feel-good" movies that put you in a good mood at the end of the day, especially after a stressful / annoying day at work.

It's possible that I'll watch it a third or fourth time, because unfortunately there are often too few of these lovable movies, but then with an egg liqueur ;-)

------------- Conclusion: Worth seeing - for all dog lovers who are also okay with German productions.
