Quasarman retreats from quality
After greatly enjoying Quasarman's surprise drama for Wicked Pictures "Devil Inside" starring Elsa Jean in her best role to date, I was sad to see him reverting to form in another Wicked drama titled "Inner Demons".
Burdened with Tommy Pistol in the lead male role, it has Mike Quasar back to his old BDSM lite tricks of his pair of "Shades of Scarlet" movies for the Zero Tolerance label. Pistol reprises his mannered performances from those films, playing a sex-addict who was introduced to the finer points of bondage by lovely prostitutes Abella Danger and Lily Labeau, shown in flashback as the film's first sex scene.
Format has usually wonderful (but not this time, I blame the director) Alexis Fawx as Pistol's shrink or therapist. He pours out his troubles to her but maintains a chip on his shoulder, making the lady suffer through each session. Structure is transparently clunky, as Pistol's tales permit the inclusion of the requisite extraneous XXX scenes, and unlike most good porn, the female roles are pretty much equal and lacking in characterization.
Only Fawx seems to have any reality to the role, but she spits out her stilted (Quasar-penned) dialog awkwardly, as if she were in a Brando cue-card situation. This leads to a very phony trick ending that I found insulting to the point of having wasted my time entirely watching this, duty-bound as I plow my way through the 1000-plus titles in the Wicked catalog.
This premise (and femme cast) had promise, but was completely sabotaged by Pistol, unattractive in middle age, and as tiresome as can be going through his "Master" routine that he's evidently developed as a prostitute/gigolo fall-back when his porn performing days come to an end -not soon enough for me.
Cherie DeVille, who usually competes for the same MILF roles as Fawx in both boy/girl and girl/girl genres, is also in the cast in a pointless Oiler segment on the massage table, in threesome action with Aaliyah Love (cast as Tommy's poor wife) and masseur Bill Bailey.
