Fulci's Honey: An Audio Essay by Troy Howarth (2017)

*** (out of 4)

This here is an entertaining piece as author Troy Howarth goes through Lucio Fulci's career and explains how certain elements in THE DEVIL'S HONEY can be traced back to Fulci's early work. There are some very good moments throughout this sixteen-minute interview and this will be especially beneficial if you're not familiar with the director's work. Howarth goes back to the early giallo pictures and comedies to explain Fulci's style and he also talks about the health issues that had the director really needing to make THE DEVIL'S HONEY. There's discussion about the production of the film as well as a certain cast member everyone hated. Fans of the film will certainly want to check this out.
