Curtis Harrington Saves The Old Dark House (2003)

This seven-minute interview with director Curtis Harrington has him talking about his love of horror movies and how that led him to save James Whale's 1932 film THE OLD DARK HOUSE. In case you weren't familiar with what happened, at one point it was considered a lost film but Harrington kept demanding that Universal search their vaults. Eventually a print turned up but more troubles followed, which Harrington discusses here. There's no question that horror fans owe Harrington a very big thank you and this featurette gives him a chance to explain what the various issues were with the film. There's no question that this here is a fun featurette that is worth watching if you're a fan of the movie.
